El Ej\u00e9rcito de Defensa de Israel anunci\u00f3 que el ejercicio se llevar\u00e1 a cabo durante todo el d\u00eda e incluye a las fuerzas de aire y tierra.<\/p>\n

Las tropas se preparan para varios escenarios posibles y operar\u00e1n a lo largo de la regi\u00f3n lindante con la Franja de Gaza.<\/p>\n

Un vocero militar declar\u00f3 en su cuenta de Twitter, en \u00e1rabe, que la maniobra hab\u00eda sido planeada desde hace alg\u00fan tiempo\u00a0y que no se realiza como respuesta a los desarrollos de seguridad en la vecindad.<\/p>\n

El ejercicio tiene lugar a siete meses de la finalizaci\u00f3n de la Operaci\u00f3n Margen Protector, el conflicto de 50 d\u00edas contra las organizaciones islamistas palestinas que controlan la Franja. La guerra dej\u00f3 un saldo de 73 israel\u00edes muertos \u2013 en su mayor\u00eda soldados – y dos mil palestinos fallecidos. Israel sostiene que al menos la mitad de los palestinos muertos eran combatientes de las organizaciones islamistas de Gaza.<\/p>\n

Hace algunos meses el Informe del Contralor del Estado critic\u00f3 la falta de preparaci\u00f3n de la reserva del Ej\u00e9rcito de Defensa de Israel, se\u00f1alando que carec\u00edan de suficiente entrenamiento al punto de que no podr\u00eda completar su misi\u00f3n en tiempos de guerra.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
