Itongadol\/AJN.- El canal de televisi\u00f3n brit\u00e1nico Sky News emiti\u00f3 im\u00e1genes de la Franja de Gaza tras la Operaci\u00f3n Margen Protector durante una nota sobre el D\u00eda Internacional del Holocausto, conmemorado este martes, y bajo el ep\u00edgrafe \u00abRecordando Auschwitz\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, su reportero, Adam Boulton, entrevist\u00f3 brevemente al Gran Rabino de Gran Breta\u00f1a, Ephraim Mirvis, sobre el significado del 70\u00ba aniversario de la liberaci\u00f3n del campo de exterminio Auschwitz. Adem\u00e1s le pregunt\u00f3 en tres oportunidades si el Estado de Israel era la causa del antisemitismo.<\/p>\n

El rabino Mirvis respondi\u00f3 que considerar colectivamente a los jud\u00edos responsables de la acciones del Estado de Israel era un ejemplo cl\u00e1sico del antisemitismo moderno. Luego agreg\u00f3 que el periodista hab\u00eda enfocado el tema al rev\u00e9s ya que es Hamas el que tiene una ideolog\u00eda antisemita y una carta fundacional que establece que se debe matar a los jud\u00edos, lo que sigue alimentando la violencia continua.<\/p>\n

El religioso tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 que, en t\u00e9rminos generales, Israel no causa antisemitismo, sino que les sirve a los antisemitas como coartada para desviar la acusaci\u00f3n de que son racistas hacia los jud\u00edos. \u00abEn el 70\u00ba aniversario de la liberaci\u00f3n de Auschwitz, es muy desalentador que brit\u00e1nicos con buena educaci\u00f3n, supuestamente ‘cultivados’, legitimen la l\u00f3gica antisemita que sostiene, impl\u00edcitamente, que los jud\u00edos son responsable de su propia victimizaci\u00f3n\u00bb, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n
