Itongadol\/AJN.-Mientras se acerca el D\u00eda Internacional de Conmemoraci\u00f3n del Holocausto,\u00a0organizaciones jud\u00edas de todo el mundo est\u00e1n usando las conmemoraciones para emitir advertencias sobre el resurgimiento del antisemitismo en Europa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0El presidente del Congreso Jud\u00edo Europeo, Moshe Kantor, dijo hoy que el futuro del juda\u00edsmo europeo est\u00e1 en juego, a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado en el que anunci\u00f3 una conferencia sobre antisemitismo contempor\u00e1neo durante las conmemoraciones de la liberaci\u00f3n del campo de exterminio Auschwitz m\u00e1s tarde este mes en Praga.<\/div>\n

\u00abLas conmemoraciones solas no son suficientes. Para evitar que la historia se repita necesitamos m\u00e1s que discursos sobre los cap\u00edtulos oscuros de la historia. Necesitamos lidiar con sus desaf\u00edos presentes y salvaguardar el futuro\u00bb, destac\u00f3.<\/div>\n

Adem\u00e1s se espera que el presidente de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea, Jean-Claude Juncker, el presidente del Parlamento Europeo y otros importantes funcionarios de la Uni\u00f3n Europea asistan, junto a parlamentarios de un n\u00famero de naciones, a debates sobre estrategias para lidiar con lo que organismos jud\u00edos caracterizan como \u00abel aumento de antisemitismo, racismo y xenofobia en Europa\u00bb.<\/div>\n

La organizaci\u00f3n, afiliada a las comunidades del Congreso Jud\u00edo Mundial en el continente, espera que esta discusi\u00f3n ayude a crear un marco legal para \u00abhacer ilegal efectivamente a estas tendencias intolerantes y peligrosas\u00bb.<\/div>\n

\u00abLa situaci\u00f3n en Europa sobre el antisemitismo, el racismo y el aumento del radicalismo religioso no puede continuar sin poner en peligro la mera existencia de las comunidades jud\u00edas europeas y la seguridad del continente en general\u00bb, dijo.<\/div>\n

Durante el segundo d\u00eda de las conmemoraciones, que se llevar\u00e1n a cabo el 26 y 27 de enero, el presidente checo, Milos Zeman, discutir\u00e1 su \u00abmapa de ruta\u00bb para combatir el extremismo.<\/div>\n
