La ministra de Exteriores sueco, Margot Wallstrom ha pospuesto indefinidamente un viaje planeado a Israel, seg\u00fan un portavoz del Ministerio de Exteriores, en respuesta a la negativa del ministro de Relaciones Exteriores Avigdor Liberman para reunirse con esta cuando ella llegar\u00e1.<\/p>\n

\u00abLa ministra de Relaciones Exteriores ha decidido posponer su visita a Israel y Palestina. En lugar de la pr\u00f3xima semana se llevar\u00e1 a cabo m\u00e1s tarde. Sin fecha, \u00abdijo el portavoz de Margot Wallstrom, Erik Boman a la AFP<\/em> .<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n suecos, el prop\u00f3sito principal del viaje fue para honrar la memoria de Raoul Wallenberg, el diplom\u00e1tico sueco que salv\u00f3 a decenas de miles de Judios en Budapest a que sean enviados a campos de concentraci\u00f3n nazis, mediante la concesi\u00f3n de documentos suecos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.<\/p>\n

Israel descontento con Suecia<\/h1>\n

Jerusalem y Estocolmo han estado librando una batalla diplom\u00e1tica de bajo perfil desde que Suecia se convirtiera en el primer gran pa\u00eds de la Uni\u00f3n Europea que\u00a0reconociera el estado no-existente de Palestina en octubre.<\/p>\n

El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores convoc\u00f3 al embajador de Suecia en Israel tras el\u00a0reconocimiento de \u00abPalestina\u00bb del primer ministro sueco Stefan L\u00f6fven.<\/p>\n

Israel retir\u00f3 a su embajador en Estocolmo en respuesta a la decisi\u00f3n diplom\u00e1tica cuestionable de Suecia, acordando devolver el embajador s\u00f3lo un mes m\u00e1s tarde.<\/p>\n

Liberman critic\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n de Suecia<\/a> despu\u00e9s de que se formaliz\u00f3 la aceptaci\u00f3n de Palestina como estado, afirmando que \u00abL\u00f6fven debe entender que ni las declaraciones unilaterales pueden sustituir a las negociaciones directas entre las partes y alejar\u00a0\u00a0una soluci\u00f3n que ser\u00eda parte de un acuerdo global entre Israel y el mundo \u00e1rabe\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Liberman sugiri\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que si L\u00f6fven est\u00e1 verdaderamente preocupado por el Medio Oriente, deber\u00eda centrarse en los problemas reales que existen en la regi\u00f3n, como los asesinatos diarios en Siria, Irak y otros pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u00abEs lamentable que el gobierno sueco decidiera adoptar una medida declarativa que puede causar mucho da\u00f1o y traer ning\u00fan beneficio. El gobierno sueco debe entender que las relaciones en el Medio Oriente son m\u00e1s complejas<\/a> que un pack de\u00a0muebles de Ikea, y har\u00eda bien en actuar con mayor sensibilidad y responsabilidad \u00ab, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n
