En 1999, Eizenkot fue nombrado secretario militar por el primer ministro y el ministro de Defensa.<\/p>\n

En 2003, fue designado comandante de la Divisi\u00f3n Judea y Samaria. Se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como jefe del Directorio de Operaciones del Ej\u00e9rcito de Defensa de Israel (Tz\u00e1hal) en 2005, y en 2006 asumi\u00f3 la jefatura del Comando Norte.<\/p>\n

Eizenkot tiene una licenciatura en Historia por la Universidad de Tel Aviv, y una maestr\u00eda de la Universidad de Haifa. Tambi\u00e9n es graduado de un programa de Estudios de Seguridad y Ej\u00e9rcito en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n
