El anuncio de Suecia de reconocer al \u201cEstado de Palestina\u201d recibi\u00f3 duras cr\u00edticas por parte de Jerusalem; en tanto que el Ministerio de Exteriores llam\u00f3 a \u201cconsultas\u201d a su embajador en Estocolmo, Isaac Bachman, por tiempo indeterminado.<\/p>\n

La ministra de Exteriores sueca, Margot Wallstrom, manifest\u00f3 que la decisi\u00f3n de reconocer a la Autoridad Palestina como estado \u201ces un paso importante que confirma el derecho a la autodeterminaci\u00f3n de los palestinos\u201d, y a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que \u201cespero que eso le muestre a otros el camino\u201d.<\/p>\n

El ministro de Exteriores, Avigdor Lieberman, respondi\u00f3 que se trata de una \u201cdecisi\u00f3n desafortunada que fortalece al extremismo y a la intransigencia palestina\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl gobierno sueco debe entender que las relaciones en el Oriente Medio son m\u00e1s complejas\u00a0que los muebles empaquetados para armar de [la exitosa firma sueca] IKEA, y que deben ser tratadas con responsabilidad y sensibilidad\u201d.Wallstron respondi\u00f3 sin inmutarse. \u201cLe enviar\u00e9 con alegr\u00eda al ministro de Exteriores de Israel, Lieberman, un mueble empaquetado para armar IKEA\u201d, expres\u00f3. \u201cComprender\u00e1 que se precisa un socio, cooperaci\u00f3n y un buen manual, y pienso que tenemos la mayor parte de esos elementos\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

De todas maneras, Lieberman estar\u00eda considerando rebajar el nivel de las relaciones con Suecia.<\/p>\n

En una entrevista con la Radio de Israel, Bachman dijo que Estocolmo estuvo tratando de convencer a otros pa\u00edses europeos para que imiten su decisi\u00f3n; pero no tuvo \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n

Bachman explic\u00f3 que el gobierno sueco tiene una visi\u00f3n simplista del conflicto israel\u00ed-palestino.<\/p>\n
