Un terrorista palestino, Abed a Rahman a Shaludi, de veinte a\u00f1os, del barrio jerosolimitano de Silo\u00e9 (Silwan o Shiloah), con un prontuario de delitos de seguridad y partidario de Ham\u00e1s, embisti\u00f3 adrede su autom\u00f3vil contra una muchedumbre de peatones que estaba esperando el tren liviano en la estaci\u00f3n del barrio Givat Hatzarfatit (\u201cLa colina de las municiones\u201d). El palestino intent\u00f3 huir de la escena pero fue herido de gravedad por los disparos de un polic\u00eda que se encontraba en la zona, y falleci\u00f3 al d\u00eda siguiente en un hospital.<\/p>\n

Una beb\u00e9 de tres meses, Haya Zissel Braun, tambi\u00e9n fue atropellada y muri\u00f3 en el atentado; en tanto que varias personas resultaron con heridas de distinto tipo consideraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Por temor a los estallidos de violencia, las autoridades israel\u00edes han permitido que solamente veinte personas participen en los funerales del terrorista.<\/p>\n
