Negociadores \u00e1rabes israel\u00edes y palestinos acordaron el lunes extender un alto el fuego temporal en Gaza por 24 horas para llevar a cabo m\u00e1s conversaciones sobre una tregua a largo plazo. El actual alto el fuego de cinco d\u00edas iba a expirar la noche del lunes.<\/p>\n

\u00abAmbas partes han acordado un alto el fuego de 24 horas\u00bb, dijo el funcionario de la delegaci\u00f3n palestina en El Cairo.<\/p>\n

Fuentes diplom\u00e1ticas en Jerusal\u00e9n confirmaron la extensi\u00f3n, diciendo a la radio Kol Israel que, a petici\u00f3n de Egipto, el alto el fuego se extender\u00e1 un d\u00eda m\u00e1s para que las negociaciones sobre una tregua permanente puedan continuar.<\/p>\n

Hamas hab\u00eda advertido en repetidas ocasiones que no se extender\u00eda el alto el fuego, presionando para obtener beneficios inmediatos que le permitan reclamar concesiones de Israel tras la Operaci\u00f3n Margen Protecotor.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, el grupo terrorista ha estado bajo presi\u00f3n por parte tanto del presidente de la AP Mahmoud Abbas como por Egipto, en la frontera con Gaza e Israel.<\/p>\n

El anuncio de la pr\u00f3rroga lleg\u00f3 varias horas despu\u00e9s de que la agencia de noticias Ma’an informara que las dos partes\u00a0han firmado ya un pre-acuerdo de alto el fuego permanente.<\/p>\n

La red Al Mayadeen inform\u00f3, por su parte, que la delegaci\u00f3n israel\u00ed regres\u00f3 a Israel y que ninguna de las partes est\u00e1 interesada en la renovaci\u00f3n de los combates, por lo que se espera que el alto el fuego permanente comienza en las pr\u00f3ximas horas.<\/p>\n

El domingo, el ej\u00e9rcito israel\u00ed se estaba preparando para una posible reanudaci\u00f3n de los ataques con cohetes desde Gaza hacia la medianoche del lunes, ya que el alto el fuego iba a expirar.<\/p>\n

La alerta se produjo ayer por la noche a\u00a0ra\u00edz de las estimaciones de fuentes diplom\u00e1ticas en Jerusalem que estimaban que las posibilidades de un acuerdo de alto el fuego duradero eran muy escasas.<\/p>\n
