El ej\u00e9rcito israel\u00ed contin\u00faa ampliando su operaci\u00f3n terrestre en la Franja de Gaza. El principal objetivo es buscar y destruir t\u00faneles utilizados por los terroristas de Hamas.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El Ej\u00e9rcito de Tierra, la artiller\u00eda y las fuerzas especiales est\u00e1n participando en la misi\u00f3n de destruir la infraestructura de terror masivo en Gaza. Los informes indican que Hamas ha invertido a\u00f1os en la excavaci\u00f3n de los t\u00faneles del terror. La operaci\u00f3n<\/a> se ejecuta lentamente y con precisi\u00f3n quir\u00fargica ya que Hamas tiende muchas trampas explosivas dentro de\u00a0los t\u00faneles, lo que oblig\u00f3 a las tropas a trabajar poco a poco y, a veces en \u00e1reas abiertas en Gaza, dej\u00e1ndolos expuestas a francotiradores y a fuego antitanque.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1s de 130 terroristas han muerto en enfrentamientos con las FDI. En un incidente ocurrido el s\u00e1bado, un terrorista sali\u00f3 de un t\u00fanel y atac\u00f3 a una unidad de paracaidistas. EL terrorista fue eliminado. Hamas ha recurrido a los ataques suicidas o a la utilizaci\u00f3n de animales con explosivos. Veinti\u00fan terroristas fueron detenidos y llevados a intensos interrogatorios.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1s de 40 ejes de t\u00faneles han sido descubiertos; cinco de los t\u00faneles<\/a>\u00a0finalizaban en territorio\u00a0israel\u00ed. Durante las \u00faltimas 24 horas, el ej\u00e9rcito israel\u00ed ha atacado a unos 450 objetivos terroristas desde el aire, mar y tierra, incluyendo 10 lanzadoras de cohetes ocultas. Desde el comienzo de la operaci\u00f3n, las FDI han atacado 2570\u00a0objetivos terroristas.<\/p>\n

En la ma\u00f1ana del viernes, el sargento primero, Eitan Barak de 20 a\u00f1os, fue asesinado. El s\u00e1bado, el sargento. Adar Barsano de 20, y el mayor (en la reserva) Amotz Greenberg, de 45 a\u00f1os, fueron asesinados por los terroristas de Hamas<\/a> que se infiltraron en Israel a trav\u00e9s de un t\u00fanel desde Gaza cuyo objetivo, adem\u00e1s de matar a los soldados, fue el de\u00a0llevar a cabo una masacre en una comunidad israel\u00ed cerca de la frontera.
