El presidente Isaac Herzog, emiti\u00f3 el domingo 25 de agosto de 2024, el siguiente comunicado:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLa acci\u00f3n decisiva de la que hemos sido testigos hoy, temprano en la ma\u00f1ana, encarna el derecho y el deber de Israel a defenderse y defender a sus ciudadanos contra la amenaza del terrorismo\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEsta es una nueva oportunidad para expresar nuestra gratitud y apoyo a nuestras hijas e hijos de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, as\u00ed como a los servicios de seguridad, emergencia y rescate, por sus incesantes esfuerzos en todos los frentes de batalla. Sus inmensos sacrificios y costos personales para frustrar los actos maliciosos de nuestros enemigos y en defensa del Estado de Israel y sus ciudadanos, merecen nuestro m\u00e1s profundo agradecimiento. Los abrazo a todos con profunda gratitud\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEsta ma\u00f1ana hemos identificado preparativos de Hezbol\u00e1 para atacar a Israel. En consenso con el ministro de Defensa y el jefe de Estado Mayor de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, ordenamos a las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, que inicien acciones a fin de eliminar la amenaza\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cDesde ese momento, las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel han llevado a cabo una fuerte acci\u00f3n con el fin de frustrar las amenazas. Ha eliminado miles de cohetes que estaban dirigidos al norte de Israel. Est\u00e1n desbaratando muchas otras amenazas y actuando con firmeza, tanto defensiva como ofensivamente\u201d.<\/p>\n
