El gobierno de Joe Biden aprob\u00f3 este martes la venta de m\u00e1s de 20.000 millones de d\u00f3lares en nuevas armas a Israel, inform\u00f3 AFP.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En una notificaci\u00f3n al Congreso, el Departamento de Estado dijo que aprob\u00f3 la venta de 50 aviones de combate F-15 a Israel por 18.820 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n

Israel tambi\u00e9n comprar\u00e1 cerca de 33.000 cartuchos para tanques, hasta 50.000 cartuchos explosivos para morteros y nuevos veh\u00edculos militares de carga.<\/p>\n

Los aviones F-15, que comenzar\u00e1n a entregarse en 2029, modernizar\u00e1n la flota actual de las FDI e incluir\u00e1n radares y equipos de comunicaciones seguras.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstados Unidos est\u00e1 comprometido con la seguridad de Israel, y es vital para los intereses nacionales de Estados Unidos ayudarlo a desarrollar y mantener una capacidad de autodefensa fuerte y preparada\u201d, dijo el Departamento de Estado en su notificaci\u00f3n sobre los F-15.<\/p>\n
