La poblaci\u00f3n de Israel ha aumentado a aproximadamente 9.9 millones y se espera que supere la marca de los 10 millones cuando el pa\u00eds celebre su 77\u00ba aniversario el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, dijo este jueves su Oficina Central de Estad\u00edsticas, inform\u00f3 The Times of Israel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La poblaci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds creci\u00f3 en unas 189.000 personas, dijo la agencia en una estimaci\u00f3n anual publicada antes de Yom Haatzmaut, que comenzar\u00e1 el lunes por la noche.<\/p>\n

En total, el pa\u00eds sum\u00f3 196.000 beb\u00e9s y 37.000 inmigrantes, mientras que 60.000 personas murieron desde que Israel cumpli\u00f3 75 a\u00f1os de independencia.<\/p>\n

Si bien esas cifras suman 173.000, la oficina se\u00f1al\u00f3 que tambi\u00e9n incluye a los agregados a la poblaci\u00f3n debido a la unificaci\u00f3n familiar, y a los que han sido dados de baja por permanecer en el extranjero durante m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

El aumento de poblaci\u00f3n del 1,9% respecto del a\u00f1o pasado marc\u00f3 una ligera ca\u00edda con respecto a la tasa de crecimiento del 2,3% anunciada un a\u00f1o antes, y la inmigraci\u00f3n cay\u00f3 aproximadamente a la mitad de las 79.000 nuevas llegadas del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la Oficina, hay 7,247,000 jud\u00edos israel\u00edes viviendo en Israel, lo que representa el 73,2% de la poblaci\u00f3n (un 0.03% menos que hace un a\u00f1o), mientras que otros 2.089.000, o el 21.1% son \u00e1rabes (un 0.01% m\u00e1s) y 564.000, o el 5.7% proviene de otros grupos minoritarios (un aumento del 0,02%), incluidos cristianos no \u00e1rabes y aquellos sin religi\u00f3n registrada.<\/p>\n

La oficina estim\u00f3 que si las tasas actuales contin\u00faan, \u201cpara el pr\u00f3ximo Yom Haatzmaut la poblaci\u00f3n de Israel superar\u00e1 los 10 millones de personas\u201d.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan estimaciones publicadas en 2018, se espera que la poblaci\u00f3n alcance los 11,1 millones en 2030 y los 13,2 millones en 2040. En el a\u00f1o del centenario de Israel, 2048, se prev\u00e9 que la poblaci\u00f3n alcance los 15,2 millones.<\/p>\n

El mismo estudio supone que con una curva de crecimiento \u201cnormal\u201d, la poblaci\u00f3n de Israel alcanzar\u00e1 los 20 millones en 2065, con 9,7 millones de jud\u00edos no hared\u00edes y diversas minor\u00edas no \u00e1rabes, 6,4 millones de jud\u00edos ultraortodoxos y 3.8 millones de \u00e1rabes.<\/p>\n

A finales de 2022, el 45% de la poblaci\u00f3n jud\u00eda total del mundo viv\u00eda en Israel, seg\u00fan las estad\u00edsticas publicadas el jueves, un 1% menos que el a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n
