El presidente Herzog recibi\u00f3 el pasado mi\u00e9rcoles 27 de septiembre en Jerusal\u00e9n, al presidente de la Uni\u00f3n de Asociaciones Europeas de Futbol (UEFA), Aleksander Ceferin, quien estaba de visita en Israel. Tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 de la reuni\u00f3n, el presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n del Futbol israel\u00ed, Shino Zuares.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El presidente Herzog agradeci\u00f3 al Sr. Ceferin por la decisi\u00f3n de la UEFA de elegir a Israel como anfitri\u00f3n del Campeonato de Europa sub-19 de 2027, y acogi\u00f3 con satisfacci\u00f3n el reconocimiento del presidente de la UEFA por el progreso y los logros hist\u00f3ricos que el futbol israel\u00ed ha logrado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Ambos tambi\u00e9n conversaron sobre la importancia de los esfuerzos para combatir la violencia en el campo deportivo.<\/p>\n
