Una madre y un beb\u00e9 pudieron ser dados de alta de un hospital israel\u00ed con buena salud el lunes despu\u00e9s de que una partera muy audaz salv\u00f3 sus vidas durante el parto.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rachel Yehurun, una enfermera partera, acompa\u00f1aba recientemente a una mujer en trabajo de parto en el Centro M\u00e9dico Ziv en Safed cuando not\u00f3 que la altura de la cabeza del reci\u00e9n nacido sub\u00eda en lugar de bajar.<\/span><\/p>\n

La mujer no estaba angustiada, no ten\u00eda factores de riesgo conocidos y anteriormente hab\u00eda tenido dos partos naturales sin ninguna complicaci\u00f3n, pero Yeshurun \u200b\u200bsospechaba que el \u00fatero se hab\u00eda roto.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yeshurun, que ha estado trabajando en Ziv durante seis a\u00f1os, llev\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente a la mujer a una sala de operaciones, donde los m\u00e9dicos diagnosticaron una ruptura completa del \u00fatero. Tambi\u00e9n encontraron la placenta completamente separada en la parte superior del abdomen.<\/span><\/p>\n

El personal dio a luz a un beb\u00e9 que fue trasladado a la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales del centro.<\/span><\/p>\n

Posteriormente, un equipo de m\u00e9dicos de alto nivel encabezado por el Dr. Inbar Ben-Shahar, director del Departamento de Obstetricia y Ginecolog\u00eda del hospital, logr\u00f3 reconstruir el \u00fatero de la madre en una operaci\u00f3n larga y compleja.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Dr. Ben-Shahar dijo que una ruptura del \u00fatero puede causar sangrado severo e incluso fatal en la madre. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n puede dejar al beb\u00e9 sin ox\u00edgeno, lo que representa un peligro de da\u00f1o cerebral o asfixia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yeshurun \u200b\u200bdijo: \u201cVeo mi trabajo como una misi\u00f3n y un gran privilegio. Gracias a todos por poder cuidar y salvar vidas aqu\u00ed tambi\u00e9n.
