Amir Peretz ha sido vice Primer Ministro de Israel, Ministro de defensa, Ministro de Econom\u00eda, y es el miembro m\u00e1s veterano del Parlamento Israel\u00ed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Naci\u00f3 con el nombre de Armand P\u00e9retz en Marruecos. Su padre era el presidente de la comunidad jud\u00eda y pose\u00eda una gasolinera. La familia emigr\u00f3 a Israel en 1956.<\/p>\n

alv\u00f3 la vida y la pierna milagrosamente en la guerra de Yom Kipur, es condecorado por su valent\u00eda en combate y ascendido a oficial. Se pone junto a su esposa a cultivar flores, pero gana su pasi\u00f3n por la pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n

Con un ancho bigote al estilo Zapata y su carisma, Peretz pronto se hace cargo de la Central Obrera Histadrut. Desde all\u00ed lucha por cientos de leyes que benefician a los trabajadores. Los israel\u00edes aprenden que los derechos se conquistan y a trav\u00e9s de paros generales.<\/p>\n

Con \u00e9l, la clase obrera de Israel obtuvo los mejores salarios y beneficios sociales.<\/p>\n

Para muchos Amir Peretz, fue el ultimo l\u00edder laborista socialista, aunque hace a\u00f1os renuncio al Partido y su secretar\u00eda general .<\/p>\n

Victima del oportunismo y la ambici\u00f3n de poder de la actual secretaria general Merav Michaeli, con su concepci\u00f3n burguesa y ultrafeminista basada en la acumulaci\u00f3n de fuerzas en la burgues\u00eda de Tel Aviv, en detrimento.de la periferia y sectores jud\u00edos y \u00e1rabes trabajadores, que eran la fuerza de Peretz .<\/p>\n

Lo cierto que Amir abandona la pol\u00edtica partidaria, se dedica con mayor intensidad a disfrutar de sus nietos, hijos y esposa, dedicarles un tiempo que siempre la pol\u00edtica le rob\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Amir Peretz quer\u00eda ser Presidente y tenia la fuerza parlamentaria para hacerlo , pero el odio de Merav Michaeli le quito el apoyo de los votos laboristas, sin los cuales no se present\u00f3 a la elecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Quienes conoc\u00edamos a Amir, sent\u00edamos dos cosas: por un lado huerfandad politica y por otro incredulidad. Amir era el pol\u00edtico con mayor antig\u00fcedad Parlamentaria, con cientos de leyes en beneficio a los trabajadores y acciones por la paz.<\/p>\n

El hombre que pens\u00f3 y realiz\u00f3 el Domo de Hierro
\nSu concepci\u00f3n humanista y pacifista lo llevo a proponer algo nuevo en las t\u00e1cticas de defensa Israeli .<\/p>\n

Amir no quer\u00eda m\u00e1s muertes ni de israel\u00edes ni de palestinos, fue cuando pens\u00f3 en un sistema de Defensa Activa: neutralizar las armas de ataque del terrorismo, los misiles lanzados desde Gaza, Siria y L\u00edbano.<\/p>\n

Habl\u00f3 con distintas empresas militares fabricantes de armas, revisaron viejas ideas descartadas y surgi\u00f3 el Domo de Hierro, un proyecto de la empresa Rafael. Un misil anti misil que interceptara los proyectiles en el aire, para evitar la entrada de fuerza humana al infierno de Gaza, arriesgando soldados y causando cientos o miles de v\u00edctimas civiles palestinas .<\/p>\n

Amir era un civil, por ello tuvo mucha resistencia a su idea del Domo de Hierro por parte de las FDI, partidarios de invertir en compra de aviones .<\/p>\n

Amir siempre fue un pragm\u00e1tico pero se volv\u00eda una topadora cuando estaba seguro de una idea y no le interesaba pagar costos pol\u00edticos.<\/p>\n

Consigui\u00f3 el presupuesto para construir el sistema anti misiles Domo de Hierro.<\/p>\n

Hay que ser claro: los radicales isl\u00e1micos nos hubieran ganado militarmente si no existiera Domo de Hierro , ya que ninguna sociedad soportar\u00eda cientos de civiles muertos por d\u00eda .<\/p>\n

Amir Peretz nunca dej\u00f3 de vivir en Sderot, la ciudad m\u00e1s castigada por misiles en Israel, a pesar de ser hoy el CEO del complejo militar llamado Tasia Aviri, Industria A\u00e9rea de Israel, fabricantes de aviones, drones misiles, sat\u00e9lites y armamento sofisticado y por supuesto tambi\u00e9n los Domos de Hierro.<\/p>\n

\u201cCada shekel invertido en proyectos como el sistema de defensa a\u00e9rea Domo de Hierro ayuda a solidificar el compromiso b\u00e1sico del estado hacia sus ciudadanos. Un frente interno bien protegido aumenta el nivel de frustraci\u00f3n del otro lado, lo que reduce la motivaci\u00f3n para usar la fuerza militar. En el futuro, podr\u00eda obligar a nuestros mayores enemigos a sentarse a la mesa de negociaciones\u201d, dijo Peretz en un art\u00edculo del Jerusalem Post<\/p>\n

Hay que aclarar que Amir Peretz nunca fue acusado de corrupci\u00f3n y es una persona profundamente democr\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n

Durante su mandato frente al Ministerio de Defensa, se descubri\u00f3 la base nuclear en Siria y \u00e9l ordena a las FDI que preparen un plan de ataque .<\/p>\n

Ataque que concret\u00f3 su compa\u00f1ero de partido Ehud Barak y en el que participara el piloto desaparecido, Ilan Ramon .<\/p>\n

Hoy Amir, como cabeza de la industria militar israel\u00ed, adem\u00e1s de vender a terceros pa\u00edses miles de millones de d\u00f3lares, desarrolla investigaciones para la fabricaci\u00f3n de nuevos prototipos que parecen venir del futuro .<\/p>\n

As\u00ed es como este inmigrante judio marroqu\u00ed logr\u00f3 llevar su imaginaci\u00f3n al poder y seguramente como despu\u00e9s de cada guerra, donde Iron Dome vuelve a ser protagonista, la gente y los medios empiezan a imaginarlo como futuro candidato a Presidente.<\/p>\n

Hoy m\u00e1s que nunca los israel\u00edes debemos decirle : \u201c\u00a1Gracias Amir!\u201d.<\/p>\n
