Efectivos de la Autoridad Palestina (AP) desbarataron el jueves pasado una serie de ataques con explosivos contra blancos israel\u00edes planificados por el grupo terrorista autodenominado Yihad Isl\u00e1mica Palestina (YIP).<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con el informe de la emisora p\u00fablica israel\u00ed Kan, las fuerzas de la AP confiscaron artefactos y material explosivo y detuvieron a dos terroristas durante un operativo en el \u00e1rea de Yen\u00edn, en Samaria (norte de Cisjordania).<\/p>\n

El sitio donde se llev\u00f3 a cabo la operaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 ubicado en la llamada \u201c\u00c1rea A\u201d de Cisjordania (bajo control administrativo de la AP).<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan precisa el reporte, los efectivos de la AP allanaron un laboratorio de explosivos de la YIP, en el que confiscaron cinco artefactos de alto poder, seis bombas tipo ca\u00f1o y abundante material explosivo.<\/p>\n

El mi\u00e9rcoles, la ciudad de Jerusal\u00e9n se vio conmovida por un doble atentado en el que fueron asesinados dos israel\u00edes y otros 21 resultaron heridos, bajo el tel\u00f3n de fondo de la creciente preocupaci\u00f3n entre los cuadros del establishment de defensa israel\u00ed sobre el deterioro de las capacidades de disuasi\u00f3n de la AP para mantener la seguridad en las zonas bajo su control.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n existe preocupaci\u00f3n por el incremento de la participaci\u00f3n de miembros de las fuerzas de seguridad palestinas en ataques terroristas contra objetivos israel\u00edes.<\/p>\n

Por ejemplo, en el septiembre pasado, Ahmed Abed, un oficial de inteligencia de la AP, estuvo involucrado en el asesinato del mayor Bar Falah, de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) durante un tiroteo sobre la valla de seguridad cerca de la localidad palestina de Jalamah. Abed y otro terrorista palestino fueron abatidos en el intercambio de fuego.<\/p>\n
