Seg\u00fan las estad\u00edsticas, en el pa\u00eds viven 9.593.000 de personas. De ellos, 7.069 millones (74%) son jud\u00edos, 2.026 millones (21%) son \u00e1rabes y 498.000 (5%) no son ninguna de las dos. La agencia gubernamental dijo que se esperaba que la poblaci\u00f3n alcanzara los 10 millones para fines de 2024, alrededor de 15 millones para 2048 y 20 millones para fines de 2065.<\/p>\n

Entre los jud\u00edos de 20 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s en Israel, el 45,3% se define como secular, el 19,2% tradicional pero poco observante, el 13,9% tradicional-religioso, el 10,7% religioso y el 10,5% hared\u00ed o ultraortodoxo.<\/p>\n

La poblaci\u00f3n de Israel creci\u00f3 en unas 187.000 personas desde Rosh Hashan\u00e1 de 2021, a una tasa del 1,8%, un ligero aumento con respecto al a\u00f1o pasado. A lo largo del a\u00f1o nacieron en Israel 177.000 beb\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Murieron unas 53.000 personas, unas 4.000 de ellas a consecuencia del coronavirus. Casi una cuarta parte de las muertes se debieron a alg\u00fan tipo de c\u00e1ncer y otro 13,4% muri\u00f3 por enfermedades del coraz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El a\u00f1o pasado tambi\u00e9n vio la llegada de alrededor de 59.000 nuevos inmigrantes a Israel, un salto en comparaci\u00f3n con a\u00f1os anteriores, impulsado por la invasi\u00f3n rusa de Ucrania. La esperanza de vida de los hombres en Israel era de 80,5 a\u00f1os y de 84,6 a\u00f1os para las mujeres.<\/p>\n
