El Presidente Milos Zeman, en visita de negocios, refuerza el compromiso de apoyar la lucha de Israel contra el terror.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

La amistad expresada por el presidente checo, Milos Zeman durante su visita a Israel esta semana -organizada con la finalidad de mejorar el comercio bilateral y la inversi\u00f3n- fue precedida por su propuesta, hecha cuando a\u00fan estaba en Europa, que consist\u00eda en mover la embajada Checa desde Tel Aviv a Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

Como se inform\u00f3 en la prensa jud\u00eda europea, Zeman, antes de las elecciones en Checoslovaquia previstas para octubre 25-26, afirm\u00f3 que \u00abHe nombrado un gabinete de la que yo puedo decir con certeza que si me mantengo en el cargo, apoyar\u00e9 esta idea [la de mover la embajada Checa a Jerusalem].\u00a0Dado que se llevar\u00e1 a cabo la elecci\u00f3n pronto, voy a esperar a esperar a que se componga el nuevo gobierno y tratar\u00e9 de persuadir al nuevo primer ministro y ministro de Relaciones Exteriores para considerar la idea\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Sus declaraciones fueron hechas en las \u00abJornadas de Israel\u00bb; evento social y cultural anual que se celebra en Hradec Kralove, y que est\u00e1 organizado por el Centro Cristiano Sion, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la embajada de Israel en la Rep\u00fablica Checa.<\/p>\n

El gesto de Zeman es consistente con el historial de su pa\u00eds de apoyo al Estado jud\u00edo, y fue muy reconocido en Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

El presidente israel\u00ed, Shimon Peres, quien organiz\u00f3 una bienvenida oficial de estado el pasado lunes por la ma\u00f1ana para Zeman y una delegaci\u00f3n de altos ministros del gobierno checo, expres\u00f3 su profundo agradecimiento al l\u00edder checo por su apoyo constante a Israel en las Naciones Unidas y en la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n

El jefe de Estado israel\u00ed se refiri\u00f3 a las amenazas actuales que enfrentan Israel y el mundo libre, alabando a Zeman por la toma de una posici\u00f3n sobre estas cuestiones.<\/p>\n\"Israeli\n

\u00abDentro de la Uni\u00f3n Europea, tengo algunas dudas acerca de las directrices europeas en contra de Israel y en mi visita en los pa\u00edses de la UE, siempre repito eso\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan Zeman, \u00abLa lucha contra el terrorismo internacional es una tarea com\u00fan, no s\u00f3lo de los dos pa\u00edses, sino de todos los pa\u00edses civilizados de todo el mundo.\u00a0Esta lucha debe basarse en un principio simple – no negociaciones con terroristas.\u00a0Si no luchas, las consecuencias ser\u00e1n el fortalecimiento del terrorismo internacional y la lucha futura ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s complicada que la actual.\u00a0Es por eso que me gustar\u00eda expresar nuestro pleno apoyo a Israel como una isla de la democracia en Oriente Medio\u00bb.<\/p>\n
