El primer ministro Naftali Bennett se refiri\u00f3 a la violencia de los \u00faltimos d\u00edas en el Monte del Templo, luego de que en la ma\u00f1ana del lunes estallen los enfrentamientos por tercer d\u00eda en la semana, cuando visitantes jud\u00edos visitaron el sitio y los fieles se reunieron para la Bendici\u00f3n Sacerdotal en el Muro Occidental.<\/strong> <\/em><\/p>\n

Con respecto a los enfrentamientos, Bennett expres\u00f3: \u00abEn la \u00faltima semana, ha habido una campa\u00f1a salvaje de incitaci\u00f3n contra nosotros, dirigida por Ham\u00e1s\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan informes, fuerzas israel\u00edes dispararon balas de goma mientras empujaban a visitantes \u00e1rabes hacia el Domo de la Roca y al-Aqsa, rompiendo algunas de las ventanas de la mezquita.<\/p>\n

Cuando uno de los grupos de visitantes jud\u00edos entr\u00f3 en el recinto, las mujeres \u00e1rabes que estaban cerca de la C\u00fapula de la Roca comenzaron a gritar \u00abKhaybar ya yahud\u00bb (un canto que hace referencia a la batalla entre Mahoma y una comunidad jud\u00eda en Khaybar en el a\u00f1o 628 de la era cristiana), seg\u00fan un v\u00eddeo compartido en las redes sociales. Los visitantes jud\u00edos respondieron gritando \u00abEl pueblo de Israel vive\u00bb, \u00abAmalek\u00bb, \u00abNakba\u00bb y \u00abAbu Khdeir\u00bb (una aparente referencia al secuestro y asesinato de un \u00e1rabe por parte de jud\u00edos israel\u00edes en 2014).<\/p>\n

El evento de bendici\u00f3n sacerdotal, conocido en hebreo como \u201cbirkat hacohanim\u201d, para la festividad de Pesaj (la Pascua jud\u00eda) se llev\u00f3 a cabo sin incidentes.<\/p>\n

La ceremonia suele atraer a decenas de miles a la plaza del Muro Occidental. Sin embargo, la participaci\u00f3n pareci\u00f3 ser bastante baja el lunes en comparaci\u00f3n con a\u00f1os anteriores, en medio de un aumento de las tensiones en la capital de Israel.<\/p>\n

El jefe de la Polic\u00eda de Israel, Yaakov \u00abKobi\u00bb Shabtai, realiz\u00f3 una evaluaci\u00f3n de la situaci\u00f3n en Jerusalem el lunes despu\u00e9s de la Bendici\u00f3n Sacerdotal en el Muro Occidental, diciendo: \u00abLas numerosas detenciones realizadas en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas de los disturbios, demuestran que la Polic\u00eda de Israel no tiene miedo de actuar con decisi\u00f3n y fuerza contra cualquiera que intente da\u00f1ar la seguridad e incitar a la violencia\u00bb.<\/p>\n
