Roman Abramovich, multimillonario jud\u00edo y due\u00f1o mayoritario del club ingl\u00e9s Chelsea, dono millones de shekels al Museo del Holocausto Yad Vashem. La cifra exacta no fue revelada pero es \u00abuna donaci\u00f3n de ocho cifras\u00ab, seg\u00fan el portavoz del museo, Simmy Allen.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos profundamente agradecidos con Roman Abramovich por esta generosa contribuci\u00f3n que fortalecer\u00e1 significativamente la misi\u00f3n de Yad Vashem\u201d, expres\u00f3 el presidente de Yad Vashem, Dani Dayan.<\/p>\n

El museo explic\u00f3 que la donaci\u00f3n se destinar\u00e1 a financiar el Instituto Internacional para la Investigaci\u00f3n del Holocausto de Yad Vashem. Aproximadamente el proceso se llevar\u00e1 a cabo durante un per\u00edodo de cinco a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Con esta contribuci\u00f3n por parte de Abramovich, el ruso se sit\u00faa como el segundo mayor donante privado m\u00e1s importante del museo. S\u00f3lo lo superan en esta lista Miri y Sheldon Adelson.<\/p>\n
