El ministro de Defensa, Benny Gantz se reuni\u00f3 con Su Majestad el Rey Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa de Bahr\u00e9in y firm\u00f3 un hist\u00f3rico Memorando de Entendimiento.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El ministro de Defensa, Benny Ganz, ha mantenido hoy una serie de reuniones oficiales con Su Majestad el rey Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, en el palacio real en Manama. Tambi\u00e9n fue recibido por Su Alteza Real, el Pr\u00edncipe Heredero, Comandante Supremo Adjunto y Primer Ministro, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, el Comandante en Jefe de las Fuerzas de Defensa, Mariscal de Campo, el Jeque Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa y el Ministro de Asuntos de Defensa, S.E. Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi.<\/p>\n

En el marco de la visita, el ministro y su hom\u00f3logo bahrein\u00ed, el Ministro de Asuntos de Defensa, S.E. Abdullah bin Hassan Al Noaimi firmaron un hist\u00f3rico Memorando de Entendimiento en materia de defensa entre los dos pa\u00edses, en la sede central de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Bahr\u00e9in en Manama, en presencia del Comandante en Jefe, S.E. Mariscal de Campo, el Jeque Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.<\/p>\n

Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de la firma de los Acuerdos de Abraham, Israel y Bahr\u00e9in formalizaron sus relaciones en el \u00e1mbito de defensa. El marco del Memorando de Entendimiento habr\u00e1 de apoyar toda cooperaci\u00f3n futura en las \u00e1reas de inteligencia, militar, colaboraci\u00f3n industrial y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Durante el encuentro, el ministro Ganz le agradeci\u00f3 a Su Majestad el rey por recibir a la delegaci\u00f3n israel\u00ed y le transmiti\u00f3 la importancia de la asociaci\u00f3n entre Israel y Bahr\u00e9in. El ministro Ganz expres\u00f3 su reconocimiento por el apoyo de Su Majestad para la ampliaci\u00f3n de las relaciones entre Israel y Bahr\u00e9in y destac\u00f3 el gran logro del Memorando de Entendimiento firmado hoy.<\/p>\n

El ministro Ganz se\u00f1al\u00f3 su expectativa de que la futura cooperaci\u00f3n fortalecer\u00e1 a las fuerzas de defensa de ambos pa\u00edses y contribuir\u00e1 a la seguridad y a la estabilidad regionales frente a las nuevas amenazas en la regi\u00f3n, y los grupos terroristas que contin\u00faan fortaleci\u00e9ndose tecnol\u00f3gica y militarmente.<\/p>\n

El ministro de Defensa Benny Ganz, declar\u00f3: \u201cHoy hemos alcanzado un nuevo nivel en las relaciones entre Israel y Bahr\u00e9in con las importantes reuniones realizadas y con la firma del hist\u00f3rico Memorando de Entendimiento. Estamos construyendo sobre los innovadores Acuerdos de Abraham y profundizando los lazos entre nuestras naciones. Tan s\u00f3lo un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de la firma de los Acuerdos, hemos logrado un importante acuerdo de defensa, que contribuir\u00e1 a la seguridad de ambos pa\u00edses y la estabilidad de la regi\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n
