El ministro de Defensa de Israel, Benny Gantz, revel\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles que Israel ha ofrecido asistencia al ej\u00e9rcito liban\u00e9s en cuatro ocasiones durante los \u00faltimos 12 meses, incluida la semana pasada.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n en la conferencia virtual del INSS, patrocinada por la Universidad de Tel Aviv, dijo: \u00abPor desgracia, el L\u00edbano se ha convertido en una isla de inestabilidad, aunque los civiles libaneses no son nuestros enemigos. Por ello, les he ofrecido ayuda cuatro veces en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, incluida la \u00faltima semana, a trav\u00e9s de la FPNUL\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00abDe forma selectiva, queremos apoyar al ej\u00e9rcito liban\u00e9s, que sufre la falta de suministros b\u00e1sicos y que ha perdido a 5.000 de sus soldados recientemente\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Gantz explic\u00f3 que esto es problem\u00e1tico para las esperanzas de Israel de que el ej\u00e9rcito liban\u00e9s pueda servir de contrapeso al apoderado de Ir\u00e1n en el L\u00edbano, Hezbollah.<\/p>\n

Anteriormente, el ex jefe de inteligencia de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI), Amos Yadlin, dijo que si las potencias mundiales llegan a un nuevo acuerdo nuclear, Israel, Estados Unidos y los estados \u00e1rabes moderados deber\u00edan llegar a un acuerdo formal de defensa regional en relaci\u00f3n con la protecci\u00f3n mutua frente a la Rep\u00fablica Isl\u00e1mica.<\/p>\n
