La Fundaci\u00f3n G\u00e9nesis anunci\u00f3 a Albert Bourla, CEO de Pfizer, como el ganador de su premio anual. El principal motivo de su elecci\u00f3n es que produjo la vacuna contra el COVID-19. La misma ha sido utilizada por Israel y otros pa\u00edses del mundo para inocular a sus poblaciones contra el coronavirus.<\/p>\n

El Premio G\u00e9nesis honra a las personas que sirven de inspiraci\u00f3n para la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de jud\u00edos a trav\u00e9s de sus destacados logros profesionales y su compromiso con los valores de la comunidad y el pueblo jud\u00edo.<\/p>\n

Bourla recibi\u00f3 el mayor n\u00famero de votos entre m\u00e1s de 200000 personas de 71 pa\u00edses. Su nominaci\u00f3n como ganador del premio hab\u00eda sido aprobada por unanimidad por el comit\u00e9 de selecci\u00f3n de la Fundaci\u00f3n G\u00e9nesis.<\/p>\n

Los ganadores suelen donar el premio de un mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares a una causa filantr\u00f3pica y Bourla ha pedido que el dinero se destine a preservar la memoria de las v\u00edctimas del Holocausto. Espec\u00edficamente solicit\u00f3 que se haga \u00abun \u00e9nfasis particular en la tragedia sufrida por la comunidad jud\u00eda griega\u201d<\/p>\n

Albert Bourla entra en la selecta lista de personalidades que ganaron el Premio Genesis, entre los que se encuentran, Steven Spielberg, Robert Kraft, Natan Sharansky, Natalie Portman y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
