Los organismos de seguridad de Kenia han vinculado a un ciudadano iran\u00ed que visita frecuentemente el pa\u00eds africano con actividades terroristas contra intereses israel\u00edes y locales, se\u00f1ala un reporte del diario keniano The Star.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Se sospecha que Mohammed Saied Golabi, que viaja asiduamente Kenia, est\u00e1 en el centro de un complot terrorista contra blancos israel\u00edes e intereses kenianos. El sospechoso planeaba presuntamente atentados tambi\u00e9n en pa\u00edses vecinos.<\/p>\n

El peri\u00f3dico se\u00f1ala que m\u00faltiples fuentes policiales, que han estado monitoreando las actividades terroristas de Golabi y de sus asociados locales, est\u00e1n convencidos que hay un v\u00ednculo entre el sospechoso y las actividades terroristas.<\/p>\n

\u201cHemos hecho un perfil suyo y de sus contactos a lo largo del tiempo. Tenemos suficientes razones para creer que ha estado trabajando con esos grupos terroristas\u201d, dijo un alto funcionario de la Unidad de Polic\u00eda Antiterrorista al rotativo.<\/p>\n

Las fuerzas de seguridad de Kenia sospechan que Golabi es un oficial de inteligencia iran\u00ed que trabaja con una c\u00e9lula integrada por kenianos para recopilar inteligencia de establecimientos tanto privados como estatales con el fin de atentar contra los mismos.<\/p>\n

El gobierno iran\u00ed se abstuvo de hacer comentarios sobre el reporte del diario keniano.<\/p>\n

En febrero pasado, los medios israel\u00edes informaron sobre un atentado iran\u00ed contra una embajada israel\u00ed en \u00c1frica Oriental que fue desbaratado.<\/p>\n

El reporte, que citaba fuente de inteligencia occidentales, indicaba que la Rep\u00fablica Isl\u00e1mica hab\u00eda enviado agentes a un pa\u00eds que no fue nombrado para recolectar informaci\u00f3n sobre las embajadas de Israel, Estados Unidos y Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos para perpetrar un atentado contra una de ellas.<\/p>\n
