El jefe de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Israel lleg\u00f3 el d\u00eda de hoy a los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos en lo que parece ser la primera visita oficial de un funcionario de las FDI al estado del Golfo.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El General de Divisi\u00f3n Amikam Norkin, comandante de la Fuerza A\u00e9rea Israel\u00ed (IAF), se reuni\u00f3 con su hom\u00f3logo emirat\u00ed, el general Ibrahim Nasser Muhammed al-Alawi, quien hab\u00eda hecho su primera visita a Israel el mes pasado durante el ejercicio a\u00e9reo multinacional \u00abBandera Azul\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Norkin tambi\u00e9n visit\u00f3 el Dubai Airshow, donde las empresas israel\u00edes mostraron su hardware por primera vez tras la normalizaci\u00f3n de las relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas de Israel con los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos el a\u00f1o pasado. La empresa estatal Israel Aerospace Industries mostr\u00f3 una gama de drones navales y a\u00e9reos tripulados y no tripulados.<\/p>\n

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems de Israel mostr\u00f3 su \u00abdomo de drones\u00bb que detecta y destruye drones con l\u00e1seres. Se vio a funcionarios de defensa emirat\u00edes preguntando sobre el alcance y el peso del sistema anti-drones en el pabell\u00f3n israel\u00ed. En total, seis empresas israel\u00edes participan en el espect\u00e1culo a\u00e9reo.<\/p>\n

El ministro de Defensa, Benny Gantz, describi\u00f3 la asociaci\u00f3n entre Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos e Israel como un \u00abactivo estrat\u00e9gico\u00bb, y dijo en un comunicado que la participaci\u00f3n del Ministerio de Defensa \u00abrefleja la profundizaci\u00f3n de las relaciones\u00bb entre las dos naciones.<\/p>\n
