Las fuerzas de seguridad israel\u00edes desbarataron una c\u00e9lula terrorista de la Jihad Isl\u00e1mica Palestina, que conten\u00eda altos oficiales de la Autoridad Palestina (AP), se\u00f1ala un reporte del Canal 12 de la televisi\u00f3n.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Los miembros de la c\u00e9lula terrorista hab\u00edan comprado armas y estaban planeando un ataque contra israel\u00edes en Cisjordania (Judea y Samaria) o sobre la L\u00ednea Verde, seg\u00fan el reporte.<\/p>\n

La L\u00ednea Verde es la l\u00ednea de armisticio que funcion\u00f3 como una suerte de frontera informal entre Israel y Jordania entre 1949 y 1967.<\/p>\n

Dos de los detenidos, arrestados en Jeric\u00f3, en las \u00faltimas dos semanas estaban afiliados a la AP. Uno de ellos es un alto oficial de seguridad.<\/p>\n

Los dos altos oficiales de la Autoridad Palestina fueron identificados en el informe como Majed Abu Shakar, un capit\u00e1n de la Fuerza de Seguridad Nacional de la AP y Jasser Dwikat, un miembro del movimiento Fatah cuyo padre ostenta el grado de general en las fuerzas de seguridad de la AP.<\/p>\n

El movimiento nacionalista Fatah est\u00e1 encabezado por el presidente Mahmoud Abbas y opera como la columna vertebral de la OLP y la AP.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con el reporte del canal, los terroristas fueron reclutados y entrenados por un operativo de la Jihad Isl\u00e1mica Palestina identificado como Izzat Al Aktash.<\/p>\n

La Jihad Isl\u00e1mica Palestina recibe un importante financiamiento y tambi\u00e9n asistencia militar por parte de Ir\u00e1n. Ejerce mayor influencia en la Franja de Gaza, donde cuenta con un peque\u00f1o ej\u00e9rcito y con una diversidad de armamentos, incluyendo cohetes, sofisticados misiles antitanque Kornet de fabricaci\u00f3n rusa, etc.<\/p>\n
