En v\u00edsperas de Rosh Hashan\u00e1, hay 15,2 millones de jud\u00edos, el 45,3 % vive en Israel y 25,3 millones de personas pueden acogerse a la Ley del Retorno.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

En la actualidad hay 15,2 millones de jud\u00edos en todo el planeta, 100 mil m\u00e1s que el a\u00f1o pasado, seg\u00fan los datos publicados por la Agencia Jud\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Estas cifras han sido difundidas de cara al A\u00f1o Nuevo Jud\u00edo (Rosh Hashan\u00e1), que comienza el lunes al atardecer.<\/p>\n

Los datos indican que 6.930.000 jud\u00edos viven en Israel, lo que representa el 45,3 % de la poblaci\u00f3n jud\u00eda mundial y alrededor del 79 % de la poblaci\u00f3n de Israel.<\/p>\n

En la Di\u00e1spora viven 8,2 millones de jud\u00edos, principalmente en Estados Unidos que cuenta con una comunidad de aproximadamente 6 millones de hebreos.<\/p>\n

Tras Israel y Estados Unidos, los pa\u00edses con mayor n\u00famero de jud\u00edos son Francia (446.000), Canad\u00e1 (393.500), Gran Breta\u00f1a (292.000), Argentina (175.000), Rusia (150.000), Alemania (118.000) y Australia (118.000).<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la Agencia Jud\u00eda, hay actualmente 27.000 jud\u00edos viviendo en pa\u00edses \u00e1rabes y musulmanes. En Turqu\u00eda viven 14.500 jud\u00edos, en Ir\u00e1n 9.500, en Marruecos 2.000 y en T\u00fanez 1.000.<\/p>\n

Las estimaciones, del profesor Sergio Della Pergola de la Universidad Hebrea, incluyen a todos aquellos que se definen como jud\u00edos y no manifiestan una identidad religiosa diferente.<\/p>\n

La Agencia Jud\u00eda se\u00f1ala que la cifra total de quienes tienen el derecho a obtener la ciudadan\u00eda bajo la Ley del Retorno en Israel, que requiere al menos un abuelo jud\u00edo, incluye a 25,3 millones de personas en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n
