El primer ministro israel\u00ed Naftali Bennett viajar\u00eda en un futuro pr\u00f3ximo a la pen\u00ednsula del Sina\u00ed para reunirse con el presidente egipcio Abdelfatah el Sisi, report\u00f3 la cadena israel\u00ed Kan.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Contrariamente a reuniones anteriores que los l\u00edderes israel\u00edes han mantenido con sus hom\u00f3logos \u00e1rabes, encubiertas y divulgadas despu\u00e9s, la reuni\u00f3n entre Bennett y Sisi ser\u00e1 p\u00fablica en la ciudad tur\u00edstica de Sharm el Sheikh, de acuerdo con la cadena.<\/p>\n

No se han dado a conocer detalles de la reuni\u00f3n planificada desde que Bennett anunci\u00f3 el mes pasado que hab\u00eda aceptado una invitaci\u00f3n para conocer a Sisi.<\/p>\n

La pr\u00f3xima visita de Bennett ser\u00e1 la primera visita p\u00fablica de un primer ministro israel\u00ed desde 2011, cuando el exmandatario Benjam\u00edn Netanyahu se reuni\u00f3 con el presidente Hosni Mubarak en Sharm el Sheikh. Seg\u00fan reportes, Netanyahu tambi\u00e9n realiz\u00f3 una visita secreta y no oficial en 2018.<\/p>\n

En los \u00faltimos meses, Egipto ha tratado de presentar m\u00e1s p\u00fablicamente su papel como intermediario responsable y eficaz entre Israel y Ham\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

El Cairo jug\u00f3 un papel central en la negociaci\u00f3n del alto el fuego que puso fin a la confrontaci\u00f3n de mayo en Gaza entre las dos partes despu\u00e9s de 11 d\u00edas y ha trabajado desde entonces para promover un alto el fuego a largo plazo.<\/p>\n
