El ministro de Defensa, Benny Gantz, llev\u00f3 a cabo una visita a Par\u00eds, para tratar de enterrar las acusaciones difundidas en los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n internacionales de que el presidente de Francia, Emmanuel Macron, hab\u00eda sido blanco del software de espionaje Pegasus desarrollado por la firma de ciberseguridad israel\u00ed NSO Group.<\/p>\n

Durante un encuentro con su hom\u00f3loga francesa, Florencce Parly, Gantz expres\u00f3 que la tecnolog\u00eda del NSO Group no hab\u00eda sido usada para penetrar en los tel\u00e9fonos de Macron o de otros funcionarios franceses, seg\u00fan un reporte del Canal 13 de la televisi\u00f3n israel\u00ed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAcabo de completar un corto viaje a Francia durante el cual me reun\u00ed con la ministra de las Fuerzas Armadas, Florence Parly, el jefe de la DGSE [Direcci\u00f3n General de Seguridad Exterior], Bernard Emie, y l\u00edderes de la comunidad jud\u00eda\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3 Gantz en un mensaje de Twitter. \u201cDiscutimos las relaciones de defensa, las aspiraciones nucleares iran\u00edes la crisis del L\u00edbano y otros desaf\u00edos\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cCon respecto al NSO: nosotros tomamos las denuncias con seriedad. El Estado de Israel aprueba la exportaci\u00f3n de productos de ciber solamente a pa\u00edses, y con el prop\u00f3sito de enfrentar el terrorismo y el crimen\u201d, recalc\u00f3 el titular de Defensa.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoy visitaron la oficina de NSO delegados del Ministerio [de Defensa] que est\u00e1n revisando el asunto e investigaremos el caso con la seriedad que se merece\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cHablamos adem\u00e1s de la crisis interna en el L\u00edbano. Israel est\u00e1 dispuesto a ofrecer todo tipo de ayuda humanitaria al L\u00edbano, exclusivamente para impedir la intensificaci\u00f3n [de la crisis] y la desestabilizaci\u00f3n de la regi\u00f3n. Con respecto a la cuesti\u00f3n palestina: debatimos medidas para fortalecer a la Autoridad Palestina y las maneras de estabilizar la situaci\u00f3n en la Franja de Gaza\u201d.<\/p>\n
