Hemos dejado atr\u00e1s un per\u00edodo de \u00abduelo por el Bet haMiqdash\u00bb que se extendi\u00f3 desde el 17 de Tamuz pasado hasta este domingo a la noche, cuando finalizamos el ayuno del 9 de Ab. Durante todo este tiempo no hemos tenido casamientos ni celebraciones.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pero una vez finalizado Tish\u00e1 BeAb, volvemos a celebrar fiestas y alegr\u00edas. En mi comunidad tenemos B\u00bbH un r\u00e9cord de casamientos desde ahora hasta Rosh haShan\u00e1. En un par de d\u00edas, este Shabbat, celebraremos tambi\u00e9n un d\u00eda muy especial, aunque poco conocido: el 15 del mes de Ab.<\/p>\n

En el tratado de Ta\u2019anit, Raban Shimon ben Gamliel dice: \u201cNo hubo d\u00edas m\u00e1s felices para el pueblo de Israel que el 15 de Ab y Yom HaKippurim, ya que en esos d\u00edas las muchachas solteras de Jerusalem sal\u00edan vestidas de blanco a bailar en los vi\u00f1edos\u2026. y le dec\u00edan a los j\u00f3venes solteros: \u00abConsidera a qui\u00e9n elegir\u00e1s (para ser tu esposa)\u00bb y luego resaltaban sus propias cualidades: sus buenas familias, sus virtudes, su belleza. Para explicar por qu\u00e9 este d\u00eda fue elegido para un evento tan alegre y significativo, \u00abel d\u00eda de los SHIDUJIM\u00bb, los Sabios mencionan lo que sucedi\u00f3 el 15 de Ab a lo largo de la historia jud\u00eda.<\/p>\n

1) Cuando el pueblo de Israel se neg\u00f3 a entrar a la tierra de Israel, todos los mayores de 20 a\u00f1os fueron condenados a morir en el desierto. Cuarenta a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, el 15 de Ab, este decreto fue cancelado.<\/p>\n

2) Para asegurar la divisi\u00f3n ordenada de la Tierra de Israel entre las doce tribus (que se establecieron en doce \u00abprovincias\u00bb o \u00abestados\u00bb \u05d0\u05d7\u05d5\u05d6\u05d5\u05ea \u05d0\u05d5 \u05e0\u05d7\u05dc\u05d5\u05ea) solo se permit\u00edan los matrimonios entre miembros de la misma tribu o provincia (Bamidbar, Cap\u00edtulo 36). A una mujer que hab\u00eda heredado la tierra de su padre en el territorio de Yehud\u00e1, por ejemplo, no se le permit\u00eda casarse con una persona de la tribu de Binyamin, etc. Dado que esto causar\u00eda la transferencia de tierras de una tribu a otra, Yehud\u00e1 a Binyamin, etc. Estas restricciones se levantaron en 15 Ab, cuando se permitieron los matrimonios entre las diferentes tribus.<\/p>\n

3) El 15 de Ab fue tambi\u00e9n el d\u00eda en que la tribu de Binyamin fue readmitida al pueblo de Israel. Los miembros de esta tribu hab\u00edan sido excomulgados por su comportamiento en el terrible episodio de la violaci\u00f3n de una mujer en la Gib\u2019ah (Jueces 19-21), un evento que sacudi\u00f3 a la comunidad de Israel.<\/p>\n

4) En el a\u00f1o 130 el emperador Adriano cambi\u00f3 el nombre de Israel a \u00abPalestina\u00bb, para borrar definitivamente el nombre de nuestra tierra. Y tambi\u00e9n plane\u00f3 transformar Jerusalem en una ciudad completamente pagana. Ar\u00f3 la ciudad, cambi\u00f3 su nombre a \u00abAelia Capitolina\u00bb y orden\u00f3 construir un templo al dios romano J\u00fapiter \u00a1en el sitio de Bet haMiqdash!. Esto llev\u00f3 a la revuelta de Bar Kojb\u00e1, cuyo ej\u00e9rcito logr\u00f3 evitar que los romanos construyeran ese templo pagano, y establecieron por un breve per\u00edodo (de 132 a 135), un estado jud\u00edo independiente. Fue necesario un gran n\u00famero de tropas romanas para aplastar la revuelta jud\u00eda. Bar Kojba finalmente fue derrotado y se retir\u00f3 a la ciudad de Biter (Betar), ubicada al suroeste de Jerusalem. Se estima que alrededor de 400,000 jud\u00edos viv\u00edan en ese momento en Biter, y todos fueron masacrados por los romanos \u00abhasta que su sangre lleg\u00f3 al mar Mediterr\u00e1neo\u00bb. Como castigo adicional, Adriano no permiti\u00f3 enterrar los cuerpos de los jud\u00edos asesinados. Seg\u00fan la tradici\u00f3n jud\u00eda, los cuerpos, milagrosamente, no se descompusieron por un per\u00edodo de tres a\u00f1os. Finalmente, el 15 de Ab, el 10 de julio de 138, el malvado emperador Adriano muri\u00f3. Y en aquellos d\u00edas, cuando el rey mor\u00eda, todos sus decretos eran cancelados. A los jud\u00edos se les permiti\u00f3 entonces enterrar los cuerpos y comenz\u00f3 un per\u00edodo de m\u00e1s tranquilidad para el pueblo. Las esperanzas de sobrevivir y crecer como pueblo jud\u00edo renacieron de las cenizas.<\/p>\n

En los tiempos de Adriano, un per\u00edodo conocido como SHEMAD, todos los jud\u00edos que se circuncidaban eran condenados a muerte, y debido a esto, los rabinos pensaron en suspender los matrimonios y evitar traer m\u00e1s ni\u00f1os jud\u00edos a este mundo, que eventualmente terminar\u00edan asesinados, esclavizados u obligados a vivir como gentiles. Con la muerte de Adriano el 15 de Ab, el pueblo jud\u00edo volvi\u00f3 nuevamente a celebrar bodas y traer hijos al mundo.<\/p>\n
