Israel y Corea del Sur firmaron el martes un acuerdo mutuo de suministro de vacunas que \u00abfacilitar\u00e1 la utilizaci\u00f3n efectiva de los inventarios de vacunas presentes y futuros de ambos pa\u00edses\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el acuerdo, Israel transferir\u00e1 de inmediato aproximadamente 700.000 dosis de la vacuna Pfizer a Corea del Sur para la vacunaci\u00f3n de sus ciudadanos a finales de julio.<\/span><\/p>\n

En junio, la Autoridad Palestina rechaz\u00f3 1 mill\u00f3n de dosis de vacunas contra el coronavirus de Israel solo unas horas despu\u00e9s de que se anunciara el acuerdo, alegando que las dosis estaban demasiado cerca de su fecha de vencimiento.<\/span><\/p>\n

Israel refut\u00f3 esa afirmaci\u00f3n, tanto al administrar las dosis a sus ciudadanos como al firmar el acuerdo con Corea del Sur.<\/span><\/p>\n

En el intercambio anunciado el martes, Corea del Sur devolver\u00e1 la misma cantidad de vacunas a Israel de un pedido futuro entre los meses de septiembre y octubre de 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este es el primer acuerdo de este tipo para el intercambio de vacunas contra el coronavirus que se ha firmado entre Israel y otro pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p>\n
