Un d\u00eda como hoy, en 1965, falleci\u00f3 el mayor esp\u00eda internacional en la historia de Israel Eli Cohen. Fue ejecutado en la Plaza Marjeh de Damasco, Siria, luego de ser encontrado transmitiendo informaci\u00f3n confidencial siria en contra de Israel.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nacido en Alejandr\u00eda, Egipto, su trabajo de agente del Mossad fue excelso. Gracias a los datos que logr\u00f3 recabar los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os de su vida, Israel logr\u00f3 ganar la Guerra de los Seis D\u00edas dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de su muerte.<\/p>\n

Se dice que fue Cohen quien \u00abrecomend\u00f3\u00bb al ej\u00e9rcito sirio plantar eucaliptos cerca de sus bases en el Gol\u00e1n. Sabiendo este dato, al ej\u00e9rcito israel\u00ed le fue muy sencillo atacar esas mismas bases.<\/p>\n
