Si bien la crisis del coronavirus afect\u00f3 al mundo en su conjunto, algunas econom\u00edas se mostraron m\u00e1s resilientes que otras.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Ese es el caso de Israel, que a pesar de ver su PIB contra\u00eddo en un 2,6%, aguant\u00f3 la pandemia de mejor manera que otros pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, gracias a su sector altamente formal y su inserci\u00f3n en las cadenas globales, Israel consigui\u00f3 por primera vez en su historia estar en el selecto club de los 20 pa\u00edses con mayor PIB per c\u00e1pita del mundo, seg\u00fan el Fondo Monetario Internacional.<\/p>\n

Con USD 47.602 por persona, Israel se encuentra en el puesto 19 a nivel mundial. Sin dudas, a solamente 73 a\u00f1os de su independencia, marca un progreso sorprendente y sostenido en el tiempo.<\/p>\n

De todos modos, es importante se\u00f1alar que se trata de una medida nominal del PIB, es decir, que no tiene en cuenta fluctuaciones del tipo de cambio ni costo de vida.<\/p>\n

Esto produce que, medido por paridad de poder adquisitvo (PPP por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), el lugar de Israel descienda a un 31\u00b0 puesto. Esto es una muestra del elevado costo de vida que a\u00fan hoy tiene el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<\/a>
