Miles de personas salieron a las calles el domingo tras la monstruosa decisi\u00f3n de la Corte Suprema de Apelaciones del Tribunal de Casaci\u00f3n de Francia de no procesar a Kobili Traore, el asesino de Sarah Halimi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Convocado por el Consejo Representativo de Instituciones Jud\u00edas en Francia, la manifestaci\u00f3n principal en la Place Du Trocadero de Par\u00eds cont\u00f3 con la asistencia de m\u00e1s de 26.000 personas. Otras ciudades francesas como Marsella y Estrasburgo tambi\u00e9n tuvieron manifestaciones bajo el lema \u00abJusticia para Sarah Halimi\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

En medio de la pandemia y las restricciones del coronavirus, muchas asociaciones y comunidades jud\u00edas de todo el mundo apoyaron a los manifestantes a trav\u00e9s de las redes sociales. En Brasil, por ejemplo, la Confederaci\u00f3n Jud\u00eda de Brasil celebr\u00f3 un acto virtual en homenaje a Sarah.<\/span><\/p>\n

Usando los hashtags #JusticeForSarahHalimi y #JusticeForSarah, manifestantes de todo el mundo publicaron la foto de Sarah en sus cuentas de redes sociales. Al final del d\u00eda, esos hashtags fueron tendencia en muchos lugares del mundo.<\/span><\/p>\n

El caso de Sarah Halimi<\/span><\/h2>\n

En abril de 2017, la doctora y maestra jubilada franco-jud\u00eda Sarah Halimi, de 65 a\u00f1os, madre de tres hijos, fue asesinada en su casa en Par\u00eds por un joven islamista mientras gritaba consignas antisemitas y la frase \u00abAllahu Akbar\u00bb. Despu\u00e9s de matarla a golpes durante casi 20 minutos, arroj\u00f3 su cuerpo desde el tercer piso del edificio.<\/span><\/p>\n

A principios de este mes, aproximadamente cuatro a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s del asesinato, el Tribunal de Casaci\u00f3n de Francia dictamin\u00f3 que Traor\u00e9 no ser\u00e1 procesado. Seg\u00fan los jueces, Traore estaba demasiado abrumado por la marihuana como para ser considerado responsable penalmente.<\/span><\/p>\n

En un momento en que muchos jud\u00edos abandonan Francia y otros pa\u00edses de Europa porque se sienten inseguros, la decisi\u00f3n de la corte francesa es una victoria para los antisemitas.<\/span><\/p>\n
