En una entrevista con un periodista israel\u00ed, el hermano del primer ministro del L\u00edbano, Saad Hariri, dijo que su pa\u00eds deber\u00eda firmar la paz con Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bahaa Hariri fue entrevistado en una videollamada por el sitio web de noticias Axios solo unas semanas despu\u00e9s de que Israel y el L\u00edbano comenzaran las primeras negociaciones directas en m\u00e1s de 30 a\u00f1os bajo <\/span>el patrocinio estadounidense<\/span><\/a> para determinar sus fronteras costeras, que atraviesan valiosos campos submarinos de gas y petr\u00f3leo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Claudine Aoun Roukoz dijo que L\u00edbano e Israel ten\u00edan que abordar primero sus disputas fronterizas. Presionada durante un entrevistador de televisi\u00f3n sobre si ten\u00eda alguna objeci\u00f3n a la firma de un acuerdo de paz con Israel, Aoun Roukoz respondi\u00f3: \u00ab\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 deber\u00eda tener alguna objeci\u00f3n?\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n

En agosto, el presidente Aoun dijo a la cadena francesa BFMTV que no descartaba la paz con Israel, pero dijo que \u00abprimero tenemos que resolver nuestros problemas con Israel\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

El problema es que, dado el complejo y peligroso mapa pol\u00edtico del L\u00edbano, Hariri y Aoun tienen una batalla cuesta arriba para lograr la paz. El partido cristiano de Aoun est\u00e1 aliado con el grupo terrorista Hezbol\u00e1 respaldado por Ir\u00e1n que comparte el objetivo iran\u00ed de destruir a Israel. Y hasta que esa alianza no acabe no habr\u00e1 paz.<\/span>
