El primer ministro, Benjam\u00edn Netanyahu, convers\u00f3 telef\u00f3nicamente con el pr\u00edncipe heredero Mohammed bin Zayed de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos (EAU), se\u00f1ala un comunicado de la oficina del mandatario israel\u00ed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Se trata de la primera conversaci\u00f3n entre ambos desde la firma del hist\u00f3rico tratado de paz entre ambas naciones en la Casa Blanca, el 15 de septiembre pasado.<\/p>\n

El jeque Mohammed bin Zayed es el gobernante de facto de los Emiratos.<\/p>\n

Durante la conversaci\u00f3n, el primer ministro y el pr\u00edncipe \u00e1rabe acordaron reunirse pronto, a\u00f1ade el comunicado, sin ofrecer m\u00e1s detalles.<\/p>\n

No obstante, Netanyahu apunt\u00f3 que espera dar la bienvenida a una delegaci\u00f3n de EUA que arribar\u00e1 al pa\u00eds. Se trata de una visita de reciprocidad a aquella que realiz\u00f3 una delegaci\u00f3n israel\u00ed, el 31 de agosto, a Abu Dabi, encabezada por el director del Consejo de Seguridad Nacional, Meir Ben-Shabbat.<\/p>\n

Mientras tanto, el Gobierno israel\u00ed aprob\u00f3 por unanimidad, en forma preliminar, al acuerdo sellado con Emiratos, que se espera que sea ratificado tambi\u00e9n por la Kn\u00e9set (Parlamento) durante la jornada.<\/p>\n

Ambos l\u00edderes indicaron que tienen puestas grandes esperanzas en la cooperaci\u00f3n entre Israel y Emiratos, para fortalecer los v\u00ednculos entre ambas naciones. En este contexto discutieron las formas de trabajar juntos para derrotar la pandemia de coronavirus, que est\u00e1 afectando a todos los pa\u00edses del mundo.<\/p>\n

Los dos l\u00edderes instaron a consolidar la paz en el Oriente Medio, para contribuir a la estabilidad, seguridad, y prosperidad de todos los pueblos de la regi\u00f3n y expresaron su agradecimiento al presidente Donald Trump y a los Estados Unidos por su apoyo vital en estos esfuerzos.<\/p>\n
