Por ejemplo, en el cristianismo, al luto y recogimiento de la Semana Santa le precede el Carnaval, un tiempo que tradicionalmente se ha convertido en sin\u00f3nimo de excesos carnales (tanto alimenticios como de otro tipo).<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En el Islam, el ayuno diario durante el mes del Ramad\u00e1n culmina al anochecer de cada jornada con formidables \u00e1gapes. Sin embargo, el ayuno y d\u00eda m\u00e1s sagrados del juda\u00edsmo, Yom Kipur, se cierra con una cena \u00edntima y nada excesiva. Es m\u00e1s, lo primero que suele ingerirse tras 25 horas sin alimento ni bebida es un sencillo caldo.<\/p>\n<p>Esta festividad se celebra el d\u00e9cimo d\u00eda del primer mes (tishrei) del calendario hebreo, y sirve de final a un tiempo de arrepentimiento por las propias faltas, que comienza ya en el mes anterior de elul (el \u00faltimo del a\u00f1o) y se intensifica en el primer decenio desde el comienzo oficial del calendario en Rosh Hashan\u00e1, en los llamados Yam\u00edm Nora\u00edm (D\u00edas terribles, en hebreo). \u00bfQu\u00e9 pasa entonces cuando se acaba Yom Kipur y en el cielo se distinguen las primeras tres estrellas que se\u00f1alan el inicio del und\u00e9cimo d\u00eda del calendario? \u00bfComenzamos a escribir un nuevo cap\u00edtulo en blanco?<\/p>\n<p>De ser as\u00ed, muchos se sentir\u00edan tentados de organizar justo entonces una marat\u00f3n de actos pecaminosos, ante la perspectiva tan lejana de la nueva fecha del balance espiritual. Sin embargo, ninguna de las m\u00faltiples di\u00e1sporas jud\u00edas ha desarrollado una tradici\u00f3n tal, como s\u00ed lo ha hecho, por ejemplo, la comunidad judeomarroqu\u00ed para celebrar el final de las restricciones alimenticias de P\u00e9saj con la hoy popularizada fiesta de la Mimuna. Porque no hablamos de librarnos de opresiones y condicionantes externos, sino de los compromisos asumidos con nosotros mismos.<\/p>\n<p>Justo antes del inicio de la ceremonia de Yom Kipur se recita el Kol Nidrei, una solemne declaraci\u00f3n en arameo para descargarse de los votos o promesas no hacia los dem\u00e1s, sino para con nuestra conciencia.<\/p>\n<p>La ley jud\u00eda (halaj\u00e1) permite librarse de estos juramentos mediante un tribunal o un experto (lo que se denomina en hebreo \u201chatarat nedar\u00edm\u201d), por lo que cabe preguntarse cu\u00e1l es el verdadero sentido de que este descargo se haga de forma p\u00fablica y colectiva. Puede que la respuesta est\u00e9 justamente en el sentido moral de la comunidad: que aunque nadie confiese su pecado ante los hombres, s\u00ed reconozcamos que no somos infalibles con la fe.
