El rabino David Lau llam\u00f3 a los jud\u00edos de todo el mundo a declarar un d\u00eda de ayuno como respuesta espiritual a la creciente crisis de salud.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El rabino jefe de Israel, David Lau, en una carta p\u00fablica, pidi\u00f3 a los jud\u00edos que se abstengan de comer o hablar innecesariamente el mi\u00e9rcoles a la luz de la pandemia de coronavirus.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abEn este momento, debemos participar en la b\u00fasqueda del alma\u00bb, escribi\u00f3. \u00abComo jud\u00edos creyentes, sabemos que la Mano de la Providencia est\u00e1 detr\u00e1s de esto y que viene a decirnos algo\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

La abstinencia de la comida y el habla es una pr\u00e1ctica espiritual jud\u00eda dise\u00f1ada para fomentar la autorreflexi\u00f3n a nivel personal y comunitario.<\/span><\/p>\n

El rabino jefe continu\u00f3: \u00abTodos sienten la espada que se ha desatado y que est\u00e1 cobrando vidas en todo el mundo. En este momento, a medida que nos adherimos estrictamente a las directivas de los funcionarios m\u00e9dicos, cada uno de nosotros debe examinar sus formas y mejorar su comportamiento , tanto con respecto a los mandamientos relacionados con su pr\u00f3jimo como con los mandamientos relacionados con Dios\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los jud\u00edos observan el a\u00f1o nuevo con <\/span>oraciones y s\u00faplicas<\/span><\/a> , haciendo del mi\u00e9rcoles un momento apropiado para el ayuno y la introspecci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

El rabino Lau hizo un llamado a todos para rezar oraciones especiales pidiendo la salvaci\u00f3n de la temida enfermedad para ellos y el mundo en general.<\/span><\/p>\n

El rabino inst\u00f3 a aquellos que est\u00e1n sanos a ayunar, incluso durante medio d\u00eda, como parte de sus s\u00faplicas para poner fin a la pandemia de coronavirus.
