El Rabino jefe Sefard\u00ed, Itzjak Yosef, pidi\u00f3 en una carta evitar visitar en masa el Muro de los Lamentos debido al coronavirus. El mensaje fue en respuesta a las solicitudes que recibi\u00f3 en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas para que dictaminara acerca de las cuestiones religiosas ante la enfermedad.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Este viernes, el rabino envi\u00f3 una aclaraci\u00f3n a los seguidores que hab\u00edan entendido en la carta que se ped\u00eda evitar asistir al Muro. Yosef dej\u00f3 en claro que en su carta hac\u00eda referencia a los servicios de oraci\u00f3n en masa, como Birkat HaKohanim (Bendici\u00f3n Sacerdotal), pero aclar\u00f3 que el Kotel permanece abierto y que recibi\u00f3 miles de visitas ayer y hoy.<\/p>\n

La Plaza del Muro Occidental funciona de acuerdo con las regulaciones del Ministerio de Salud, que limitan las reuniones en un espacio cerrado a un m\u00e1ximo de 100 personas. La Fundaci\u00f3n del Patrimonio del Muro Occidental puso dos carpas de oraci\u00f3n para el Shabat de hoy, en la que no pueden entrar m\u00e1s de 100 congregantes, adem\u00e1s de la Plaza del Muro Occidental abierta, debido al clima lluvioso en el que se encuentra desde ayer la ciudad de Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

El rabino inst\u00f3 a seguir las instrucciones como si fueran leyes religiosas. Observando que la fe jud\u00eda pone un fuerte \u00e9nfasis en salvar vidas humanas, en la medida en que es permisible comer en Yom Kippur y violar el Shabat si estas acciones se hacen para preservar la vida, Yosef instruy\u00f3 a cada hombre y mujer a rezar \u00abcerca de sus casas\u00bb hasta que el brote haya terminado.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, orden\u00f3 a las grandes sinagogas que no realizaran oraciones masivas, aunque continu\u00f3 diciendo que las bodas no deben posponerse, y que se celebren seg\u00fan lo previsto con una peque\u00f1a audiencia.<\/p>\n<\/a>
