En la gran inauguraci\u00f3n de la misi\u00f3n comercial de Brasil en Jerusalem, el hijo del presidente brasile\u00f1o Jair Bolsonaro reiter\u00f3 el compromiso de su padre de trasladar la embajada de la naci\u00f3n a la capital de Israel.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El domingo, Brasil abri\u00f3 oficialmente una misi\u00f3n comercial en Jerusalem, que se present\u00f3 como un paso significativo hacia un movimiento a gran escala para la embajada de la naci\u00f3n latinoamericana en Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si bien la misi\u00f3n actualmente no tiene estatus diplom\u00e1tico, a diferencia de las oficinas comerciales de Jerusalem de Hungr\u00eda y Honduras, Eduardo Bolsonaro, que es un parlamentario de alto rango e hijo del presidente, hizo comentarios durante la apertura del domingo se\u00f1alando que Brasil ha hecho un <\/span>\u00abcompromiso\u00bb \u00abpara trasladar su embajada a la capital de Israel<\/span><\/a> .<\/span><\/p>\n

La apertura de la oficina se anunci\u00f3 por primera vez en marzo de 2019, durante una visita a Israel de Bolsonaro.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hablando en Jerusalem el domingo, Eduardo Bolsonaro declar\u00f3: \u00abEstuve con [el presidente] antes de venir aqu\u00ed. \u00c9l me dijo que con seguridad, el movimiento de la embajada es un compromiso. \u00c9l va a trasladar la embajada a Jerusalem\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abQueremos completar el traslado a Jerusalem, no solo para Brasil, sino para ser un ejemplo para el resto de Am\u00e9rica Latina\u00bb, agreg\u00f3 Bolsonaro, \u00abEstamos haciendo algo normal: reconocer su capital\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bolsonaro tambi\u00e9n cit\u00f3 el precepto b\u00edblico de que quienes bendicen a la naci\u00f3n de Israel ser\u00e1n bendecidos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la Agencia Brasile\u00f1a para la Promoci\u00f3n de Exportaciones e Inversiones (Apex-Brasil), un organismo vinculado al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores que administra la misi\u00f3n comercial, la oficina se encargar\u00e1 del comercio, la inversi\u00f3n, la tecnolog\u00eda y la innovaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

La oficina, ubicada en el parque de alta tecnolog\u00eda Har Hotzvim de Jerusalem, est\u00e1 dirigida por Camila Torres Meyer, analista de comercio internacional, que ha trabajado para Apex durante 12 a\u00f1os. Los otros dos empleados ser\u00e1n israel\u00edes.<\/span><\/p>\n

La oficina se enfoca en asociaciones que involucran tecnolog\u00eda en agricultura y agua, as\u00ed como seguridad cibern\u00e9tica para la protecci\u00f3n de datos y la aplicaci\u00f3n militar, seg\u00fan un informe de noticias de <\/span>Poder360<\/span><\/em> .<\/span><\/p>\n

Hasta ahora, Estados Unidos y Guatemala han ubicado sus embajadas en la capital de Israel. Se espera que Honduras transfiera su embajada a Jerusalem en un futuro pr\u00f3ximo.<\/span><\/p>\n
