Un informe basado en datos recopilados por la Oficina Central de Estad\u00edsticas de Israel (CBS) indica la migraci\u00f3n interna de unas 37.200 personas al sur del pa\u00eds en 2018, un fuerte aumento del 36% respecto al a\u00f1o anterior.<\/span><\/p>\n

El informe analiz\u00f3 la migraci\u00f3n interna hacia y desde la regi\u00f3n sur de Israel y descubri\u00f3 que el sur gan\u00f3 un total de 800 personas de la migraci\u00f3n el a\u00f1o pasado, en comparaci\u00f3n con una migraci\u00f3n acumulativa negativa de 4.000 residentes entre 2014 y 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los n\u00fameros son particularmente sorprendentes, teniendo en cuenta el a\u00f1o desafiante que sufrieron los residentes del sur en 2018, con disturbios peri\u00f3dicos a lo largo de la frontera de Gaza, globos incendiarios que incendian tierras de cultivo y cientos de cohetes disparados desde Gaza.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan los datos, despu\u00e9s de la Operaci\u00f3n Borde Protector en 2014, el sur sufri\u00f3 una migraci\u00f3n neta negativa de 2,100 personas. En los a\u00f1os siguientes, la tendencia negativa se debilit\u00f3: en 2015, unas 1.600 personas abandonaron el sur, en 2016 la p\u00e9rdida neta del sur fue de 400 residentes, y en 2017 la p\u00e9rdida neta se redujo a 300 personas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por lo tanto, la migraci\u00f3n neta positiva en 2018 representa una inversi\u00f3n de una tendencia que ha persistido durante cuatro a\u00f1os. Sorprendentemente, la transici\u00f3n de la migraci\u00f3n neta negativa a la positiva ocurri\u00f3 durante un a\u00f1o particularmente dif\u00edcil para los residentes del sur en t\u00e9rminos de seguridad, luego de varios a\u00f1os de relativa tranquilidad en la regi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n
