El encuentro tiene como objetivo proteger las rutas mar\u00edtimas del Golfo P\u00e9rsico ante la creciente amenaza iran\u00ed. Tambi\u00e9n se discutir\u00e1 en ese foro la prevenci\u00f3n del contrabando de armas avanzadas y la protecci\u00f3n de la aviaci\u00f3n civil, precisa el reporte.<\/p>\n

Israel y Bahr\u00e9in no tienen relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas oficiales, pero la participaci\u00f3n israel\u00ed en Manama es otro ejemplo de que la amenaza iran\u00ed est\u00e1 acercando al Estado jud\u00edo y a los pa\u00edses \u00e1rabes del Golfo, permitiendo que sus funcionarios gubernamentales de primera l\u00ednea sean vistos p\u00fablicamente en la misma mesa, destaca el informe.<\/p>\n

En el encuentro participar\u00e1n Arabia Saudita, los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos y el Sultanato de Om\u00e1n, y est\u00e1 considerado como una continuaci\u00f3n de la conferencia llevada a cabo en Varsovia, en febrero pasado, patrocinada por Estados Unidos con el objetivo de contrarrestar la agresi\u00f3n iran\u00ed en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El Departamento de Estado de EE.UU. precis\u00f3 que el encuentro en Bahr\u00e9in, que tendr\u00e1 lugar entre el 21 y 22 de octubre, se focalizar\u00e1 en el mantenimiento de la seguridad mar\u00edtima y a\u00e9rea en el Oriente Medio, y la promoci\u00f3n de medidas para prohibir y prevenir los env\u00edos de armas il\u00edcitas de destrucci\u00f3n masiva.<\/p>\n<\/a>
