Enormes explosiones se escucharon, el domingo por la noche, cerca de una base controlada por la milicia pro-iran\u00ed \u201cal Hashad al Shabi\u201d (Unidades de Movilizaci\u00f3n Popular) en la zona de al Madean, al sureste de Bagdad, la capital de Irak, seg\u00fan el reporte del canal saudita Al Arabiya y otros medios iraqu\u00edes.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Algunos informes indicaron que las explosiones fueron provocadas por el disparo de cohetes de tipo Katyusha, en cambio otros apuntan a drones no identificados.<\/p>\n

Un video de las explosiones fue difundido a trav\u00e9s de los medios sociales.<\/p>\n

Las Unidades de Movilizaci\u00f3n Popular (UMP) son una organizaci\u00f3n paraguas compuesta por alrededor de cuarenta grupos paramilitares, en su mayor\u00eda chi\u00eds, vinculados de alguna manera m\u00e1s o menos laxo con el estado iraqu\u00ed. Algunas de las milicias m\u00e1s importantes de las UMP est\u00e1n patrocinadas por Ir\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

Ni el gobierno de Irak ni ninguna otra entidad oficial emiti\u00f3 un comunicado sobre el ataque.<\/p>\n

En los \u00faltimos meses, las Unidades de Movilizaci\u00f3n Popular han sido blanco de ataques perpetrados por drones no identificados. Varios actores locales han acusado a Israel por los bombardeos; pero el gobierno de Jerusal\u00e9n se niega a comentar esos incidentes.<\/p>\n

Israel ha acusado a Ir\u00e1n de estar tratando de crear bases para el lanzamiento de misiles desde Irak contra su territorio, como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n de utilizar el suelo iraqu\u00ed como puente para el env\u00edo de misiles de precisi\u00f3n hacia Siria y al L\u00edbano para las milicias chi\u00eds, y el grupo terrorista chi\u00ed Hezbollah, respectivamente, hostiles al Estado jud\u00edo.<\/p>\n

En el mes de septiembre, el primer ministro iraqu\u00ed, acus\u00f3 a Israel de estar detr\u00e1s de los ataques a las bases de Unidades de Movilizaci\u00f3n Popular, argumentando que el Estado jud\u00edo es el \u00fanico que quiere una guerra en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/a>
