Lior Haiat, actual c\u00f3nsul de Israel en Florida, Alabama, Mississippi y Puerto Rico, fue designado recientemente como el pr\u00f3ximo portavoz de la canciller\u00eda israel\u00ed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Haiat sustituir\u00e1 en su cargo a Emmanuel Nahshon, designado recientemente como nuevo embajador de Israel en B\u00e9lgica.<\/p>\n

El propio Nahshon comunic\u00f3 la noticia a trav\u00e9s de un mensaje en su cuenta de Twitter: \u00abMi querido amigo y colega, Lior Haiat, ha sido elegido como nuevo portavoz del ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Israel. Lior Haiat, Consul General de Israel en Miami, es un diplom\u00e1tico talentoso y experimentado, con muchos a\u00f1os de experiencia trabajando con la prensa. Una voz orgullosa de Israel! Mucha suerte Lior!\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Haiat tiene adem\u00e1s una conexi\u00f3n especial con el p\u00fablico de habla hispana. Antes de ser c\u00f3nsul en Miami, sirvi\u00f3 como director del Departamento de M\u00e9xico, Centro Am\u00e9rica y el Caribe en la canciller\u00eda israel\u00ed por dos a\u00f1os y antes de esto fue portavoz y director de diplomacia p\u00fablica de la embajada de Israel en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Asimismo ,en el comienzo de su carrera diplom\u00e1tica, Haiat fue portavoz y agregado cultural de la embajada de Israel en Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n

El nuevo portavoz de la canciller\u00eda israel\u00ed sirvi\u00f3 como oficial en la unidad de infanter\u00eda de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, adem\u00e1s de tener un Master en Pol\u00edticas P\u00fablicas de la Universidad Hebrea y un t\u00edtulo de Econom\u00eda y Comunicaciones de la Universidad de Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n
