La pr\u00f3xima guerra con grupos terroristas en la Franja de Gaza controlada por Ham\u00e1s durar\u00e1 m\u00e1s que Protective Edge y ver\u00e1 al ej\u00e9rcito israel\u00ed asestar un golpe masivo a Ham\u00e1s y la Jihad Isl\u00e1mica Palestina.<\/p>\n

Las FDI se enfrentaron a las crecientes cr\u00edticas tras las acusaciones del ex defensor del pueblo militar mayor general Yitzhak Brick, quien advirti\u00f3 que los militares, especialmente las fuerzas terrestres, no est\u00e1n preparados para una guerra a gran escala.<\/p>\n

El ej\u00e9rcito aprendi\u00f3 las lecciones de la Operaci\u00f3n de 50 d\u00edas en 2014, as\u00ed como las numerosas rondas de violencia durante el a\u00f1o pasado. Las FDI dicen que tiene la capacidad y la inteligencia para infligir da\u00f1os severos a los grupos terroristas en un corto per\u00edodo de tiempo, en caso de que estalle una guerra.<\/p>\n

El ej\u00e9rcito tambi\u00e9n aument\u00f3 el n\u00famero de objetivos de la Jihad Isl\u00e1mica Palestina y Ham\u00e1s que ser\u00e1n atacados en la pr\u00f3xima campa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Como una de sus primeras visitas como jefe de gabinete, el teniente general Aviv Kochavi fue al Comando Sur y se reuni\u00f3 con oficiales de alto rango y aprob\u00f3 planes operativos para la guerra, incluida la creaci\u00f3n de una unidad administrativa centralizada para preparar una lista de posibles objetivos en Gaza en caso de que estalle una guerra.<\/p>\n

Cuando Kochavi asumi\u00f3 el cargo como el principal oficial militar en enero, el sur de Israel y la Franja de Gaza se convirtieron en la principal prioridad para las FDI, lo que llev\u00f3 a los militares a aumentar su preparaci\u00f3n en el \u00e1rea.<\/p>\n

El proceso de preparaci\u00f3n implica la cooperaci\u00f3n de todos los cuerpos del Estado Mayor de las FDI encabezados por el Comando Sur y se enfoca en potenciar la inteligencia, vincular las unidades de campo con la inteligencia en tiempo real, aumentar el entrenamiento de las tropas y un amplio esfuerzo log\u00edstico.<\/p>\n

Si bien no hubo una guerra desde 2014, en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o desde que comenzaron las protestas de la Marcha del Retorno a lo largo de la valla fronteriza, hubo 10 rondas de conflicto violento entre ambas partes. En los primeros seis meses de 2019 hubo mil cohetes, en mayo los dos grupos terroristas dispararon 700 cohetes y una granada propulsada por cohete. Cinco civiles israel\u00edes fueron asesinados en esa ronda.<\/p>\n<\/a>
