En el verano del a\u00f1o pasado, cuando la selecci\u00f3n de f\u00fatbol argentino se dispon\u00eda a disputar un partido amistoso contra la selecci\u00f3n israel\u00ed en Jerusal\u00e9n, Jibril Rajoub, conocido oficial de gobierno palestino y presidente de la asociaci\u00f3n de f\u00fatbol palestina, lider\u00f3 una campa\u00f1a en contra de que el partido se lleve a cabo (y finalmente el partido se cancel\u00f3).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Este 21 de mayo est\u00e1 programado que el equipo de f\u00fatbol espa\u00f1ol Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid llegue a Jerusalem para disputar un partido contra el equipo local, Beitar, en honor al veterano futbolista israel\u00ed Yossi Benayoun que anunci\u00f3 recientemente su retirada.<\/p>\n

Rajoub ha comenzado ya su campa\u00f1a para pedirle al Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid que no participe en el encuentro en Jerusal\u00e9n e incluso envi\u00f3 una carta a su junta directiva amenazando con presentar demandas si no cancelaban el partido.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, mientras Rajoub llama a boicotear a Israel, la televisi\u00f3n israel\u00ed report\u00f3 que recientemente fue internado en un hospital israel\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan report\u00f3 Jadashot 12, Rajoub habr\u00eda sido trasladado en la noche de este mi\u00e9rcoles a Israel para recibir tratamiento m\u00e9dico \u00aburgente\u00bb.<\/p>\n

El dirigente palestino habr\u00eda sido atendido en el hospital \u00abIchilov\u00bb en Tel Aviv, aunque el centro m\u00e9dico evit\u00f3 comentar sobre el caso.<\/p>\n
