Los dirigentes de la Autoridad Palestina (AP) han decidido castigar a los ciudadanos palestinos por el recorte de Israel sobre los salarios a los terroristas.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Esta decisi\u00f3n fue denunciada por Maurice Hirsch e Itamar Marcus de la organizaci\u00f3n Palestinian Media Watch.<\/p>\n

Tradicionalmente, Israel atiende a miles de palestinos cada semana que sufren problemas m\u00e9dicos imposibles de resolver en los territorios palestinos.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades de la Autoridad Palestina coordinan con el Estado de Israel el traslado y la atenci\u00f3n de estos pacientes. Sin embargo, los voceros de la AP han anunciado que esta ayuda humanitaria llegar\u00eda a su fin debido a que Israel se niega a entregar fondos destinados a pagar salarios a terroristas presos o liberados y ayudas a las familias de los criminales que hayan resultado muertos.<\/p>\n

A la fecha de hoy la Aut. Palestina destinaba anualmente unos $100 millones a los programas de ayuda m\u00e9dica en Israel para los ciudadanos que no pod\u00edan ser atendidos en sus predios. Debido a que Israel ha aprobado una ley que proh\u00edbe el apoyo financiero al terrorismo no ser\u00e1n entregados unos $138 millones provenientes de los impuestos que Israel recolecta para la Autoridad Palestina, ya que este monto es destinado a los salarios y las llamadas \u00abpensiones de sangre\u00bb. La ley aprobada determina que al cesar los pagos a los terroristas estos fondos ser\u00edan abonados al resto de los impuestos recolectados para la AP.<\/p>\n

Tal como se ha dicho, la Autoridad Palestina castiga a los palestinos que requieren cuidados m\u00e9dicos en Israel. Y esta cifra no puede despreciarse f\u00e1cilmente. Seg\u00fan el informe de PMW, en 2015 unos 100 mil palestinos recibieron tratamientos m\u00e9dicos en Israel. Entre esos pacientes se encuentran oficiales de la AP y sus familiares que han recibido tratamientos m\u00e9dicos de variada importancia.<\/p>\n

La terrible noticia del cese de la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en Israel lleg\u00f3 a los palestinos por boca del mismo vocero del Ministerio de Salud, quien lo anunci\u00f3 el pasado 26 de marzo en el diario oficial de la AP. En la nota se aclara perfectamente que la eliminaci\u00f3n de las referencias a hospitales israel\u00edes se hace en respuesta a la deducci\u00f3n aplicada por Israel. Puntualiz\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que la decisi\u00f3n de la AP fue tomada por motivos \u201cpol\u00edticos\u201d y no para mejorar la situaci\u00f3n de la salud p\u00fablica de los palestinos.<\/p>\n

Anteriormente, ya la Autoridad Palestina hab\u00eda decidido reducir los salarios de los empleados p\u00fablicos como una soluci\u00f3n a la crisis econ\u00f3mica de su gesti\u00f3n de gobierno. Estos recortes de salarios, aunados a la eliminaci\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en Israel, deja claro que para la Autoridad Palestina es m\u00e1s importante subvencionar a los terroristas (subvenci\u00f3n que eventualmente se convierte en incentivo) antes que velar por las condiciones de vida de los palestinos.<\/p>\n
