A principios de 2019, la poblaci\u00f3n del Estado de Israel ascendi\u00f3 a los 9 millones.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la Oficina Central de Estad\u00edsticas, el 74.3% de la poblaci\u00f3n es jud\u00eda, el 20.9% \u00e1rabe, y otro 4.8% son residentes que emigraron a Israel bajo la Ley de Retorno, aunque no est\u00e1n reconocidos como jud\u00edos.<\/p>\n

En 2018, la poblaci\u00f3n de Israel creci\u00f3 un 2%, y se estima que en 2025, la poblaci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds cruzar\u00e1 la marca de los 11 millones.<\/p>\n

La mayor parte del crecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o se debi\u00f3 al aumento natural (81%). Durante el a\u00f1o, 185,000 beb\u00e9s nacieron en Israel, un r\u00e9cord hist\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n

Entre los beb\u00e9s nacidos, 74.4% eran jud\u00edos, 22.8% \u00e1rabes y 2.8% otros.<\/p>\n

Otro factor importante en el crecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n es la inmigraci\u00f3n de jud\u00edos a Israel (19%). El a\u00f1o pasado 28,000 nuevos inmigrantes llegaron a Israel. Los principales pa\u00edses de origen de los inmigrantes fueron Rusia (31,5%), Ucrania (19,6%), Francia (8,0%) y Estados Unidos (7,9%).<\/p>\n
