Las brigadas de al-Nasser Salah al-Din en Gaza difundieron un flyer con mensajes y amenazas contra la celebraci\u00f3n de Navidad en la franja.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Con un vers\u00edculo del Cor\u00e1n, un \u00e1rbol de navidad con una X y en llamas, y un mensaje en tono de amenaza, el flyer advert\u00eda a \u201cno seguir el camino de los jud\u00edos y los cristianos\u201d y argumentaba que est\u00e1 \u201ctotalmente prohibido\u201d celebrar la fiesta.<\/p>\n

Las brigadas\u00a0al-Nasser Salah al-Din son el brazo militar del Comit\u00e9 de Resistencia Popular que es considerado la tercera facci\u00f3n m\u00e1s grande en la Franja de Gaza tras el Hamas y la Jihad Isl\u00e1mica. El Comit\u00e9 de Resistencia Popular es considerado una organizaci\u00f3n terrorista por Israel y Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

La poblaci\u00f3n cristiana en Gaza se ha reducido de forma continua en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, en especial tras la llegada del Hamas al poder. Antes de la llegada del Hamas algunos estudios dec\u00edan que alrededor de 3.000 cristianos viv\u00edan en Gaza y hoy en d\u00eda el n\u00famero ronda los 1.300.<\/p>\n

El movimiento terrorista ha permitido y alentado la persecuci\u00f3n de los cristianos y la islamizaci\u00f3n de la franja.<\/p>\n

Un conocido caso fue el de Rami Ayyad, un cristiano que era el gerente de la \u00fanica tienda de libros cristianos en Gaza. La tienda hab\u00eda sido atacada repetidas veces y en el a\u00f1o 2007, tras la llegada del Hamas al poder, Ayyad fue secuestrado y asesinado por asaltantes que nunca fueron detenidos.<\/p>\n
