El atentado terrorista de hace unos d\u00edas en que dos j\u00f3venes soldados del Ej\u00e9rcito de Israel murieron, en el centro de Judea y Samaria tambi\u00e9n conocida como Cisjordania, revel\u00f3 la unidad en el dolor de todo un pueblo.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n

En diversos medios fueron publicados los nombres como \u201cel sargento primero Yuval Mor Yosef , de 20 a\u00f1os, y el sargento Yosef Cohen, de 19 a\u00f1os ambos pertenecientes a la Brigada Kfir\u201d una unidad de soldados ultraortodoxos denominada anteriormente como Batall\u00f3n Hared\u00ed.<\/p>\n

En una reciente entrevista al padre del fallecido sargento Yosef Cohen, el rabino Eliahu Merav, manifest\u00f3 su profundo dolor por la muerte de su querido hijo. El rabino habl\u00f3 a las c\u00e1maras con el rostro encajado de tristeza y haciendo algunas reflexiones que todos deber\u00edamos meditar. El amor que una madre y un padre sienten por sus hijos, especialmente cuando lo pierden de forma tr\u00e1gica, no necesita explicaci\u00f3n. El profundo dolor de los padres del sargento Yosef Cohen se tradujo en una experiencia compartida con todo Israel. Los estamentos militares y civiles se encontraron en el dolor, las l\u00e1grimas y la tristeza.<\/p>\n

La unidad de todo un pueblo se ve reforzada en los momentos m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de la vida como es en este caso uno de los muchos atentados terroristas, que lleva sufriendo la poblaci\u00f3n de Israel. El dolor une, sensibiliza y nos permite entender lo fr\u00e1giles que somos cada uno de nosotros. En el llanto nos abrazamos, nos comprendemos y nos hacemos uno con el otro. El rabino Eliahu Merav reflexion\u00f3 en voz alta diciendo: \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 tenemos que encontrarnos en el duelo y el sufrimiento? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 decimos somo hermanos en el dolor? Encontr\u00e9monos en la alegr\u00eda tambi\u00e9n.<\/p>\n

El amor al pr\u00f3jimo se manifiesta ciertamente en el dolor y en la alegr\u00eda. Unos valores eternos, tal como los defini\u00f3 el rabino Merav, que nadie puede cambiar. En el conjunto de la sociedad israel\u00ed, como en el resto de las sociedades, el amor al pr\u00f3jimo es la m\u00e1xima expresi\u00f3n de humanidad que nos ha otorgado el Cielo. Un amor entre iguales que nos hace llorar con el que llora y re\u00edr con el que r\u00ede. Los conflictos entre grupos de diferentes ideas pol\u00edticas, religiosas o incluso de car\u00e1cter cultural lastran el esp\u00edritu de humanidad que deber\u00eda prevalecer en todos nosotros. Nos identificamos en dolor, pero nos cuesta asumir el riesgo de comprendernos en la alegr\u00eda.<\/p>\n

En el tradicional brindis jud\u00edo la expresi\u00f3n Lejaim se traduce por la vida. La alegr\u00eda por la vida es un distintivo evidente del Pueblo de Israel. La alegr\u00eda tambi\u00e9n se expresa con l\u00e1grimas, abrazos, risas y sonrisas. En la alegr\u00eda nos identificamos con el otro y nos hacemos part\u00edcipes de sus momentos de felicidad \u00bfNo ser\u00eda tambi\u00e9n apropiado identificarnos y respetarnos en la alegr\u00eda? El dolor ya sabemos que nos une, pero \u00bfSabremos unirnos en la alegr\u00eda? No es tan f\u00e1cil como parece.<\/p>\n

Todos creemos que nuestros conceptos pol\u00edticos, religiosos y culturales son los mejores. Por lo general queremos que nos respeten en nuestra particular idiosincrasia, pero nos cuesta mucho respetar las ideas de los dem\u00e1s \u00bfNo ser\u00eda absolutamente necesario el respeto a las creencias de los dem\u00e1s? En el dolor de la muerte todos somos comprensivos, sensibles y humanitarios. Las diferencias se disipan en medio de las l\u00e1grimas \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo nos identificaremos con los dem\u00e1s, aunque no piensen como nosotros? \u00bfEs una utop\u00eda? Al Cielo no le pareci\u00f3 as\u00ed cuando nos mand\u00f3 amar al pr\u00f3jimo en la alegr\u00eda y en el dolor. Qu\u00e9 as\u00ed sea y brindo por la alegr\u00eda de la vida \u00a1Lejaim!<\/p>\n
